If only time could go slower
As a little boy, I always wanted to grow up really fast. I looked up to and admired young men because they had freedom to do whatever they want when they want without being told what to do. I on the other hand was a kid so I couldn't make a lot of decisions for myself.
Most of my decisions were made by my parents. They did a pretty good job, but of course as a kid without proper knowledge of how the world works there will definitely always be disagreements. I spent a large part of my childhood wanting it to go faster so I can finally be "Free",and live the life I've always wanted without anyone's influence.
But now that I am at that stage that I visualized and wanted to be in so much, I realize it's not the bed of roses I'd imagined it to be. Who knew making your own decisions would also mean bearing the consequences on your own :D. There's also the scary thoughts that comes into your head once in a while, putting fear into you and telling you that in the end you won't be successful, or how you are always wasting time and should be doing productive things, and then when you do the productive things it seems like you're missing out on all the good things you're to enjoy at this age. There is also the pressure to keep in touch with people, even though it's impossible to keep up with everyone at a time. And don't let me get started on the bills, The bills are almost endless.
But despite all of this I wish time would go a bit slower at this time. Why? You may ask. Because this is a very crucial stage of life and at this stage the decisions you make follow you for life. The thought of all that scares me at times. So most times I just want it a bit slow so I can achieve a lot at the time and have a very happy and comfortable life when I get married and have kids. Sometimes I feel I'm on the right track, other times I feel like I'm nowhere near there yet. It can get annoying at times but I guess I just have to keep doing my best and hopefully I can achieve my dreams.

The American government is completely incompetent. The NSA should be taken over by the military and contained Immediately for investigation. i have been there too, there was a time i want to be an adult so i can be free, but now the only thing adult has to offer is freedom, but the freedom is not really freedom, work and trying to survive already took the freedom from us..

I think you are not alone in this "aspect of thinking". All of us feel this from time to time. Having a growing kid at my household and seeing his activities on a daily basis, he definitely wants to grow up very quickly! We have already realized the effects of "growing up" but he doesn't know that yet!
