Trying bambara nut on my farm for the first time don't really know if it will grow well
Bambara nut is one of the plant that is not commonly planted in my area
And unknowingly to them it's is highly nutritious, and to those that knows the value it's been termed one of the most complete food
It's grown just by two or three farmers.
It's not well known so that is why it's hardly planted
The scientific name for bambara nut goes thous (vigna subterranean)
It was first originated in the west Africa
It's pod underground, and it looks very much like the peanut
They are consume in different ways such as eaten fresh or dry,it can also be boiled after drying it, and it can also be grounded either fresh or dry to make pudding which ever way you want it.
It's extremely hard unlike groundnut and it produce reasonable yield.
It is planted under the condition of drought and doesn't need too much soil fertility unlike other crops which is highly fertility
Part of it nutritional value include carbohydrates and fiber and it's rich in minerals.
It also has it benefits such as therapeutic, support the ground and activity in condition like infection.
Bambara ground nut is a sustainable, low cost source of complex carbohydrates, it's unsaturated minerals (magnesium, iron, zinc and potassium)
I planted it to see if it will grow on my farm but to my surprise it is growing perfectly well and I can't wait for it to grow

Hello there!
How’re you doing?
This is the first time I’d see a plant like this. I live in Nigeria and I’ve never heard anything like Bambara nut.
Hi
It's not a common plant
It's only planted by few farmers
I hope your pea plant will grow well as expected.
