Timing is very important when it comes to harvesting grains

HELLO HIVE

Hello my beautiful friends in hive it feels good to know that you are
Still out here doing great in health and mind

Harvested rice has to be dry before it is stored ,this way the rice can last longer without getting spoiled in the bag without been spoiled or having any insect affecting it
Part of the rice is really getting dried while others part are still very much fresh

Grains should not be exposed to any form of moisture to prevent this grains from inhibiting infections that can cause the grain to get spoiled.

My rice ought to be ready for harvesting but seems like some of the grains have not yet dried .
So I decided to leave it for a few more days before I can harvest it to be on a safer side and not regretting myself for harvesting it when it is not yet time, though some people are telling me that nothing is going to happen to it but I have to go with my mind, few days is not too far compared to the time I have been waiting

Even though I want all the grains to have properly dry before harvesting I still have to make sure that it doesn't stay longer than it should on the farm to prevent the grains from falling off while harvesting is going on

Thanks for viewing my blog

That is a good decision..

One has to harvest at the perfect time.
Rice that is too dried will fall off the stalk while the one not properly dried will not be suitable for storage.

This is a very good point, thanks for sharing.
