The process of milling my rice

HELLO HIVE

While the price of rice is at an all time high, local production are struggling to meet up with it's demands this days and farmers that have consumed all they had harvested last year can't wait to start harvesting their rice.

Harvesting has already started for some farmers but that of my farm is still some few days before I will start harvesting from my farm
Even though harvesting isn't far away anymore there are a lot of things that I still have to do before I can start consuming the rice , harvesting can also be very tedious since there are no available technological machines to reduce the stress and every process except from milling of rice is done manually around my place.

Since am getting ready for the harvest I thought I should do away with rice that is left out last year to prepare a space for the incoming one

In order for that to be done I boiled the remaining bag of rice at home, take it to the engine where I will have them milled

There are two different machine there the one for milling the rice and the other one for removal of stone
Due to the process of harvesting stones do mixed up with the rice which makes us to remove the stone inorder for us to enjoy the rice

When the stone is been separated from the rice, the stone pass through the back part of the engine while the rice is coming through the front of the engine

And this is the stone that was removed from the rice with some grains of rice in it, and this is also the outcome of my rice,am sorry I didn't take pictures of the rice before the process

Thanks for viewing my blog
