Weeding the weed from my ewedu
Weeding is one of the maintenance of plant

Some of you may be wondering that what is this ewedu

Ewedu is a common soup that is originated by the Yoruba people.
It is known as jute leaf

Jute leaf is also a type vegetable that is found in Africa especially in Nigeria
Ewedu is planted in the same way as spinach and they also share the same type of seed, their seed cannot be differentiated from spinach unless it's somebody that is use to them.

Benefits of ewedu

According to the Yorubas it is believe to be good for pregnant women especially those ones that are due for delivery,they said it helps to fasten labour and that it also makes labour easier.

Method of consumption

It's is cooked as soup or it can be squeeze as juice for the pregnant women

It's commonly used as soup to the Yorubas,they believe it is the best soup for infants.

It's a draw soup that mostly goes with the food called Amala
Amala and ewedu is the best food in Yoruba land

Removing the grass from my ewedu farm so that it's not affected by the weed

Some of these weed consume some of the space in which the plant is supposed to grow and also they share the nutrients which is met for the plant alone so if it's not properly taking care of it can cause the farmer
