My rice plant is almost ready
HELLO Hive
Rice (oryxa sativa)is a seed called cereal grass. This is one of the
most valuable dietary carbohydrates in the world,in which more than half of the world population depends on.
It is a central components of many cuisine of which India, china and southeast Asia is not excluded.
It's a staple all over the world and it's one of best ever comfort food.
Rice is a rich source of carbohydrates, the body most important fuel source.
It gives energy and it's well satisfied and it's important for fueling exercise.
Brown rice has many nutrients including fiber, manganese, selenium, magnesium and vitamin B.
It's more of delicious meal.
There are different ways in which you can prepare your rice: steamed, boiled or fried.
Rice growth and it production are been effected by some major factor: environment, biotic condition, cultural practices and soil properties.
Environment: rice grows in different environment and these usually depends on the type of rice planted, the long grain needs enough water for it to grow and it also takes more time than the short grain.
The long grain takes five months or more for it to be ready but the short grain takes three to four months.
Though I prefer the short grain, the taste is very sweet more than long one
The long grains consume more ingredients for it to taste yummy, why the short grain need little ingredients and doesn't need more water when cooking.
Thou the short grain doesn't swollen while cooking.
After months of planting and waiting my rice will be ready in few weeks.
At this stage rice need enough water for it to develop it seed and without the water the rice won't produce good seed.

Well, maybe one day, I’ll have the opportunity to visit a rice farm.
