KSB For Student Budget Meals

Since we are students and don't have a stable source of income yet, mostly we tend to be resourceful on looking for food chains or eateries that could fit our budget. Foods which can satisfy our cravings and enough to fuel us for the rest of the day. I don't know but it just makes me hungry when I'm at school and I need to use my brain most of the time than my physical strength.

So whatever foods we can find on our vacant time will be a delight to our weary soul, just like the street food carts that stopping by sometimes in front of the campus, the stores nearby, or even the unripe mangoes inside the campus. They can't escape our hunger if we don't have any food alternatives.

However, this time we have found a haven that is budget-friendly and catering servings of delish and just enough to fill our stomachs, sometimes I couldn't even finish a bowl of it but I was already satisfied. This place is situated inside the City Ville where our campus is located 2 blocks away. It's only a few walks, so we often came by here to feast when all the cafes were occupied outside the campus.

This place is called Kapehan sa Balay since it is placed adjacent to the owner's home and not that spacious. If you're not that observant when walking, you wouldn't even notice the sign and the entrance to their food house.

We've been a regular customer here since last year because they have a wide choices of affordable and delicious foods to offer. Also, what I like the most here is their Native Coffee, which is a strong brewed. It surely can keep me up all day until the night dismissal.

As you see, it's not that fancy but at least the place is very cozy and warm, but not that also hot since it is under the shade of a Mango tree. The trunk is even visible inside.

We often went here if we have at least two to three hours of vacant time, so we can spend some time here just discussing random things before going back to our classes.

The top-seller here is their Sisig with egg for only Php 80, and also their Nacho Fries for Php 120 since it is very popular with students as snacks. I have to agree why it is popular because aside from being affordable, it is overloading. It is good for a group snacks after eating burgers with an Iced Coffee.

And, this is my favorite from their menu, Special Lomi with Boiled Egg. It's a creamy amd meaty noodle soup with sliced carrots, chicharon, and spring onions as the toppings. I was already digging in when I took a picture of this. I forgot to document out of hunger. They also have Arroz Caldo and Batchoy, but I'm not fond of too much soup, so I prefer this one. It's really filling and can boost me up until the night time class dismissal.

There are lots of places that we were going to dine during lunch break and snack time, but this place have become our go-to place most of the time. Aside from it's cozy ambience and affordable meals, it is not cramped with students during lunch, we can stay here to kill time before another subject begins. The owner is quite friendly, and she permits us to as we like.

You've reached the end of my blog. On to my next food destinations. Thanks for dropping by. Have a good day!
