Process in pictures - Proceso en imágenes

Many times for good things to happen and to find balance in life, we have to go through a path that is not easy at all. We can see the light at the end, but first we have to go through some things that may not be very nice. The important thing is always to have balanced energy so that justice can act.

There are situations in life that are not very fair, or at least sometimes we think so, but we receive what we give and others will also receive what they gave. It is necessary to remain calm until the waters subside, having the certainty of what is expected, the conviction that the scales will be balanced, even if time sometimes seems eternal.

In this design, the stones help us to remain calm in a purple world of change, change that is necessary and not always easy, but that balance, which is partly mental, will reach the optimum level.

Design process

The design is made with seven images, distributed in layers within the Photoshop CS6 programme without using AI.

I chose an image with lilac or purple tones for the background, I duplicated it twice and changed the tonalities in the image, justes, tones and saturation.

Then on top of that I placed the cave made with amethyst stones in purple colours as well, I arranged it in two layers with darker colour mergers and soft light.

Then I worked on the image of the stones in balance in four different layers, with different scale and position. The blending modes used were focal light and darker colour.

Between the previous layers I arranged the woman's face in three different layers, erasing most of the background and enlarging its scale to focus the face. The blending modes used were, darker colour, overlay and normal.

I placed the scale on top of the head, high up, so that it would be on both sides of the woman's face. I arranged it in two layers with darker colour and strong light blending. The image of Yin and Yang, erasing previously the background, I put it in two layers, one on each plate of the scales with strong light fusion.

Finally I worked on the eye, erasing before the background, I placed it in two layers, one on the woman's forehead and the other at the level of the throat... The fusions I used are darker colour and luminosity, and previously I changed the colour to purple.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Muchas veces para que pasen cosas buenas y hallar el equilibrio en la vida, hay que pasar por un camino que no es nada fácil. La luz al final podemos verla, pero para ello primero hay que atravesar ciertas cosas que es posible no sean del todo lindas. Lo importante es siempre tener la energía equilibrada para que la justicia actúe.

Hay situaciones de la vida poco justas, o al menos a veces eso creemos, pero recibimos lo que damos y los demás también recibirán lo que dieron. Hay que permanecer en calma hasta que las aguas se aquietan, teniendo la certeza de lo que se espera, la convicción de que esa balanza se equilibrará, aunque el tiempo a veces parezca eterno.

Es este diseño, las piedras nos ayudan a conservar la calma en un mundo morado del cambio, cambio necesario y no siempre sencillo, pero esa balanza que en parte es mental llegará al nivel óptimo.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño está realizado con siete imágenes, distribuidas en capas dentro del programa Photoshop CS6 sin usar IA

Elegí una imagen de tonos lilas o morados para el fondo, la dupliqué dos veces y le cambié las tonalidades en imagen, justes, tono saturación.

Luego encima de lo anterior coloqué la cueva hecha con piedras de amatista en colores morados también, la dispuse en dos capas con fusiones de color más oscuro y luz suave.

Luego trabaje la imagen de las piedras en equilibrio en cuatro capas distintas, con distinta escala y posición. Los modos de fusión usados fueron, luz focal y color más oscuro.

Entre las capas anteriores dispuse el rostro de la mujer en tres capas diferentes, borrando gran parte del fondo y agrandando su escala para enfocar la cara. Los modos de fusión usados fueron, color más oscuro, superponer y normal.

La balanza la coloqué encima de la cabeza, bien en lo alto, para que luego quede a ambos lados del rostro de la mujer. La dispuse en dos capas con fusiones de color más oscuro y luz fuerte. La imagen del Yin y Yang, borrando previamente el fondo lo puse en dos capas, una sobre cada plato de la balanza con fusión de luz fuerte.

Finalmente trabajé el ojo, borrando antes el fondo, lo dispuse en dos capas, uno sobre la frente de la mujer y otro a la altura de la garganta. Las fusiones que usé son color más oscuro y luminosidad, y previamente le cambié el color a morado.

La animación está realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
