Process in pictures - Proceso en imágenes

Dreams are a subject that has fascinated me for many years and I have studied them a lot, they are projections of other planes and also images of possible futures, they can also be journeys that one makes with the etheric body.

To be able to remember or catch dreams is something fundamental, since many of them give us signs and guides for our life. And this is related to the opening of the third eye, developed intuition and the practice of lucid dreaming.

Dreams are doors and opening them depends on us.

Design process

The design is made with 7 images and in 16 layers.

Using two images of universe and nebulae I made the background by superimposing them and using the fusions of normal, lighten and soft light. On top of this I placed one of the dreamcatchers in two layers with fusions of darker colour and focal light and in the centre I placed also in two layers the clock with the same fusions.

The second dream catcher I placed on top of all the above in two layers with fusions of focal light and soft light.

Then I worked on the woman's face in four layers, the last one offset to the right. I erased a lot of it with emphasis on the face. The fusions used are focal light, darken and normal, with light filter on the last one.

Finally I selected one of the eyes of the second woman and placed it in the centre of the dreamcatchers, in two layers with strong and normal light as fusions.

The animation is done completely in After Effects, working on the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.
