Sailing through glitter.

Boats, water and night seem to me a perfect combination.

My love for boats goes back to my childhood, my grandfather used to race boats and he loved the sea, fishing and everything related to it.

I think I inherited that love for the sea and boats and if I add it to a calm night, with a light breeze, plus a walk it is even more wonderful.

I like to practice catching at night, but on this occasion it was not the early hours of the morning but a night that was just beginning on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea and with beautiful views of the ships and boats that were moored there.

All the lights were on and the surroundings were also brightly lit, even with coloured lights from time to time.

I found this environment perfect for practising my photography and although I took a lot of pictures, I think some of them are acceptable.

Without being black and white photographs, the colours, lights and shadows stand out.

Another thing that amazes me are the reflections on the water, both day and night, with calm sea or with a little movement. Beautiful figures are drawn on it.

The boats seemed to be resting and resting on a blanket of water, which reflected their beauty among the many lights that illuminated them, allowing their details to stand out.

The city in the distance, with the imposing cathedral in the background, gave the captures a particular style.

The streets or places to stroll through the area were delicately illuminated giving that exuberant but beautiful glow at the same time.

I approached several of the boats that were there, I couldn't resist, I like them too much.

I liked to appreciate those details in the wood, in the sails, in all their extension, which look very different with the artificial light.

Glitter everywhere I looked and many of these beautiful constructions that allow us to sail the sea and although I was only walking I felt I was sailing among them and the wonderful lights.

The night was dressed in light in a very calm and inviting journey that invited you to stay there for a long time looking at the boats, they inspired a lot of calm and serenity.

Nice are the moments in life when you can sail among lights and with a lot of peace and harmony enjoying every moment in the present, no matter what is happening around you.
