IMPROVE YOUR ENGAGEMENT WITH LEO THREAD; AND OTHER BENEFITS.

Hello friend.
Since learning about the threads, I have been using it often, creating and sharing my own threads as well as engaging with others. In this article, I’ll share with you the improvements I’ve noticed since using it. And if you aren’t using threads, then I urge you give it a try.

The most significant one has to be the growth on the margin of my engagement in the community. In the first week I started posting on Leo again, I was shocked when the weekly engagement report was published and I saw my name at the fourth second position, now that was a big deal to me though I kept wondering how that even happened. I asked myself: ‘did I really engage that much?’

Well, it gets better because the next week I moved up to the twentieth position. That week I shared a bunch of threads and engaged with other people’s threads as well. So I continued to engage with threads and with the good ole posting too. Last week, I moved up to the seventeenth position. Hopefully, I’ll move up to fifteen at the end of this week or even higher. I don’t even think about the engagement report or put my mind to it when I’m doing my thing so I’m always surprised when it rolls out and I see my name.

Threading is a game changer if you’re looking to improve your engagement in the community. I like the idea of microblogging for a lot of reasons. One being that it makes it easier for me to share ideas in order to be active on the platform. Sometimes, I lack ideas or inspiration on what to write, and even when I get something it is not enough to make a Leo post so what I do is thread those ideas. So, even if I don’t post in a day, I make sure to thread some. That way I am still active on the posting front whether or not I post an article.

Another reason I love threading is because it makes finance less boring as it is not limited to the finance niche or topic. I can talk about anything at all, anything. People talk about their personal lives, share pictures when they take walks, pictures of their dogs, the movies they’re watching etc. It makes it easier to connect with people because now there is more to talk about than just financial conversations.

When I started exploring and engaging on threads, I would notice some persons share links to their posts on threads and I started doing that too. It drives more visibility and engagement to your content so you might want to hop on that.
Threads just like your regular posts also get upvoted, so you get some author rewards by threading. It is limited to 244 characters and you can create as many chains as you want.

We are unto something here, something really cool, a game changer to the blockchain. The data is all housed on the Hive network, using its open, decentralized database.

WHAT’S NEW TO THREADING?

Khal shared an article a few days ago detailing how he uses threads. In there he mentioned something new that will soon be added to it and that’s a polling system. Polls will be added, just like you have polls on the bird app. Then you can ask direct questions to your friends, or seek ideas or confirmations, or help resolve an indecision or confusion. I’m really looking forward to that.

He also mentioned that it’ll soon become possible to tip some Leo tokens by adding a tipping option or feature to the use of threads. Let’s say you throw a question and someone gets it correctly, you could tip them some tokens; I hope I’m right about my understanding of this tipping feature. Lol.
