Do you have any bank note as collection in this new era of cashless? (1) Brazil Reais
Maybe it's better for me to talk something else other than the blockchain or crypto today. In this new era of cashless, trust many people get used to pay their bill via credit card, mobile apps pay like google pay, apple pay, etc, less and less people and shops use cash anymore especially in the pandemic periods, cashless payment can reduce the risk to spread the virus, right?
I am just wondering how many people still collect difficult bank notes from other country, for myself, I do collect some old Hong Kong and Macau bank notes, but I forgot where did I keep them after we have a renovation back in 2016, anyway I pretty sure they are still keeping very good and safe at my home, I just need time to find them out then I can share to you guys later on.
It's very funny for me to find out some Brazilian Reais bank notes at my home, I can tell this is not my mom and my collection for sure, maybe it's my dad collection? or my grandma from my father side I guess.
All the bank notes are look very new still, then I have asked my net friend from Brazil trying to see if people still using such bank note nowadays, he told me that people no longer using them since 1990, wow, sounds they are antique now.
If any one know how much money they worth in USD now? Please let me know if you have idea, I am not going to sell them but just curious to know how much they worth for now.

我也有收集一部分
這是好舊的巴西貨幣, 不知誰的收藏品, 可能是我死鬼老爸
Money tends to devalue to the price of its base metal. Paper money tends to devalue to the price of used paper. I have never been able to bring myself to collecting paper money because I know that it is doomed to drop in value.

I don't deliberately collect the paper money, I just collect them unless the serial number on the notes are good, so I don't collect and keep too much paper money to be honest, I keep most of my asset in the crypto now, the value of my crypto assets are even higher than my fiat money in my bank account.

I figure that the bureau of engraving and banks have a upper hand in collecting bills with interesting numbers. They get the bills in sequence and are better able to determine which bills have the interesting numbers.
I admit, I would find it fascinating to collect historic bills which have already devalued to the point where their numismatic value is worth several times the face value.
