This post was inspired by @katerinaramm when she shared her My 7 reasons why I love using hive on a daily basis! Tell me yours!, and after some thoughts, I also got know that there are some reasons why I really love Hive and its good to share it out for other people to see and also share their reason why they love Hive and why they use it on daily basis.

Hive has gone beyond just a web3 platform where people just come and share their posts because it’s a decentralized platform, forever own it and earn from it, it’s now a community, a home and a safe space for everyone and there are different communities where everyone can find their safe haven. So below I will be sharing reasons why I love Hive or why I use it on a daily basis and I believe you will agree with me.

First of all, there’s one statement I agree with @katerinaramm where she said:

One of the first things I do in the morning and also before I go to bed is check my hive/leofinance feed for new posts and for new replies to my posts that may need immediate assistance.

Checking of feed is the first and last thing I do too before going to bed and waking up just in case I have missed out on some posts and curate them manually if the curating trail I belong to hasn’t done their part.

Reasons Why I visit hive on a Daily Basis and Why I Love it

1. Learning and Sharing Knowledgee

Hive itself is a hub of knowledge flows, it’s a place where you get to learn and gain knowledge of everything if you put your mind to it also visiting the different communities you get to see all kinds of knowledge being shared from you to learn from.
For example, before joining the leofinance community my knowledge about the DeFi ecosystem was limited but as I get to read posts on them and also do research and share the knowledge gained I became more aware of what the DeFi ecosystem is all about.

2. Communication/Communicating/Engagement/Engaging

Communication/Engagement is one of the basic things to do on Hive because it’s what keeps us together and encourages us to do more and this is one thing that makes Hive a community and keeps it thriving. So the first thing to do is check my feeds to make sure I engage on posts I can relate with it and make sure to respond on my posts too or upvote the comments.

3. Accumulating HP (Hive Power) for the future

We know there was a time when Hive was nearly $5 and there was a time when Hive was 4 cents and right now it's $0.5. And we can all agree that we want Hive to climb up to $10 or more and I believe it’s going to happen soon so before that happens to accumulate HP for the Bull Run is very necessary and the best way to do that is posting and curating posts.

4. Posting/Creating Contents

Creating content is like the brain of Hive or what controls Hive because it has to do with sharing information, knowledge or simply communicating. Posting is what I do once or twice a day especially when I have something interesting and knowledge to share but the most important thing is I leave a post on my feed.

5. Safe Haven

Hive is also a safe haven for me and I know for some people too, it’s a place where you can come share your thoughts, and feelings and express yourself. Sometimes you don’t really need to share your thoughts to be safe but you can also come on, read other people's posts and you can feel what they are feeling or they are expressing something similar to you in their words, you can engage them, sympathize with them and share or advise them what they can do or next step to follow while you too express yourself to them to know they are not alone.

6. Entertainment/Contest/Rewards

Hive is one place that is full of run that’s if you are willing to locate and participate in it. Hive is full of entertainment and rewards and you get to participate in them through contests and visiting communities that talk about fun stuff like movies, stories, cultures and arts etc.

7. Earning

This is one of the main reasons we all post on Hive because it is the motivation that makes us keep going and it has really helped me and some of us in taking care of bills and other kinds of stuff.

Summary

Hive is full of knowledge and entertainment and full of people that need one another to succeed and thrive, it’s more than a community it’s a home.
