This Pub will open weekly on the Pubs Community with the purpose of acting as a place to meet, socialize, exchange information, get free stuff, you get the idea for HIVE's sake!

Today, we were about to open the Pub when we found someone at the entrance... like this...

Have you tried BeeSwap already?

These are last week's positions of the Pub after re-investing the gathering rewards from HIVE to BEE, and then adding them to BEE:DEC liquidity pool with @forykw DEC.

There's quite a lot of info here, so don't get overwhelmed. Let's try to dissect some of these for general visitors (from left to right):

  • Rewards available! - means there are rewards being distributed on this pool (check the right column to find which ones you are being entitled to every day).
  • BXT rewards available! - means that there are BXT rewards being distributed, and you can find more about these at @beeswap account posts.
  • Shares and Bonus - equals to your total stake in the pool, where if there are bonuses involved (usually add up per day, the more days you are in that liquidity pool), you will see how much shares are from your base stake and how many from the bonuses. If you remove your stake from the liquidity pool, you lose your bonus. Every time you change (add or remove) liquidity in that pool, you lose the rewards on that day.
  • User liquidity - it's how many stake you have from the pair you chose. These values might change depending on swaps, token prices, and if you add/remove liquidity from that pool.
  • Rewards - how many rewards you will get (assuming no changes on the pool) on the next distribution. These can also change if someone adds more rewards to that pool (which anyone can do).
  • BXT APR - how much APR you get from the BXT (alone) distribution with your staked liquidity.
  • APR - how much APR you get from all the other token rewards with your staked liquidity.
  • Next rewards in - how much time is left for the next rewards distribution. Remember that if you remove/add more liquidity to that pool, these will be skipped for 24 hours.
  • Rewards end in - how long the rewards in that liquidity pool will be distributed for. After this, the creator of the pool and others may or may not decide to add more/other rewards. Bonus % in the pool will NOT reset after this period ends as long you don't change your liquidity.
  • Daily bonus - it's how much you will gain daily in bonus percentage to your current effective bonus.

We hope this helps. If you have any other questions, let us know. Feels quite nice to have already 26 BEE (last week), but at this rate, it will take some time for the Pub to have the first party on Phase [II]. We are observing and finding solutions to it.

We also understand the pool flows both ways, so, sometimes it might look like we lost BEE, but eventually, it will bounce back and it will be a question of knowing when to exit the pool to get the maximum BEE possible.

@forkyishere opened a Pub franchising! 🤣

That's right... we managed to find that yesterday's specimen was actually @forkyishere going down the stairs. And now we found out why!

He opened up a franchising on a platform called BBS. He will be attempting to spread the word of the Pub and hopefully reach out to more visitors for the Pub.

There is lot's to explore everywhere, and the aim of this Pub still persists towards attracting more to HIVE and promoting a fun, relaxing, free from stress environment.

Update on the BEE holdings

Just a post-opening Pub update, because our last rewards allow us to purchase a great deal of BEE. Just as compared with what you could see above on the BeeSwap image. This is what we hold after buying BEE with the last gathering rewards.

Well hello @forykw, @josie2214 and all my fellow pub mates I'm yet to meet personally. How are you all? Exhausted, by the look of it! Understandable. Silly season + Covid = Ridiculousness, yes?

Well, now that I've got an oversized cocktail let me tell you about my week: I hit the three month mark on HIVE. Wooooooooooo 🤸🤸‍♂️🤸‍♀️

Thank you, thank you... for the applause. That's very gracious of you. Thank you. But actually, you can read all about it if you want, because, as you might have gathered, I love words, so I wrote an oversized post about everything I've learned these last few months. (Which clearly has been a lot because I'm now in an imaginary pub, drinking an imaginary cocktail with people I didn't know 3 months ago 🤣).

Or I could summarise as we keep drinking? 🍸 Sure. So here it is:

  • 6 months ago if you said "Hive" I was looking for bees 🐝
  • 3 months ago I looked at the new account Brad (@new.things) had created for me and wondered what the heck I was entering🤔
  • Today I know enough to know that there's so much I don't know 😆

You must be crazy awesome to be with. I can tell already by the creativity and enthusiasm. So lucky that guy... called @new.things 💖 !LUV

And yeah, the experience you are having here is way more hyped than when it was for me a few years ago, but believe me, I still hype myself with HIVE. Especially when I see the ecosystem winning some battles like the one that happened with Justin. Also when there are new initiatives and behind the scenes especially when helping new initiatives from others and then sharing them around.

Yesterday, was my kin's day, so, pretty hard to be around. Still managed to prepare some stuff over the week, because I knew it was going to be hard.

I did have some !BEER but no !WINE and !PIZZA was for the kids, but all very nice. Including the crab!

Continue staying !ALIVE and you will exponentially feel the trend of empowering this community has. I can only say, 2021 was fun, and Epic, 2022 is going to be Legendary!

I re-read (skimmed 😂) the post and wasn't sure what I was looking for. Brad pointed out the explanation of the pub, which is helpful, not only for me but also for others I'm sure.

I shall continue to turn up on as many Friday nights as I can manage and say something... entertaining? interesting? useful? 😏 Hahaha. I'll say something. You are doing great... but don't feel obliged to do it, if not your thing. Welcoming people and teaching them and learning along with them is my thing, and then if all can have a little incentive to motivate, then it's a perfect combination I would say.

The newly added stuff was about @forkyishere (a new place to explore) and the BEE (token) that the Pub is accumulating from the gatherings rewards, which have increased substantially due to the last gathering rewards.

did you know that you can log in to inji.com with your hive keychain and then connect your inji profile with your twitter account? After you did this anything you post on inji will get posted to the hive blockchain and twitter. But only if you want that. You can switch the options on and off as you please. And... if you are talking to me I understand very little of what you've shared here. Haha! I know the word "twitter" and can tell you I don't have an account. (Have had, twice, over the last decade. What you use to see the posts? Ecency? Usually if you look at the notification and click on it, it will only show you the last (parent) reply.. so you don't loose focus.

There are other tools for better engagement, based on web pages...

Yep, I use ecency. I think Brad @new.things picked that one because it seemed to have the best features and be the newest (at the time) with the most users (?)

I don't know if I'm getting lost because I don't really understand what solymi was saying and so wasn't sure if they were talking to me... 😉

So... would I use this instead of ecency @forykw?

Not instead, but as "an extra"... you can use both at the same even, it does not matter because they both target the same blockchain where everything is recorded.

This one will be mostly to "review/answer" who comments to you, just like your email inbox. But has also the ability to explore your feed for posts and make your own comments on others' posts. Although this one might work best on PC... on mobile, it might be challenging, especially if you don't have a large screen.

Ohh, sorry, sorry, I'm late for the party, that's because yesterday I 'went' to a semi-IRL work party with endless rounds of garticphone and laughter. ^^

Other than that.. this week, this week, oh, yeah, sure.. I was on a juice cleanse to clear out my lymph nodes and was floored by the effectiveness. I laugh that I always assumed that people only go on juice cleanses for instagram stories and attention, but no, turns out it actually works! Who knew?

The plan for today is to bottle my apple wine and maybe get my 10k steps for actifit.

For anyone following along who is curious:

Gartic Telephone is an online game that mixes Pictionary with the Telephone game (the game where you whisper into the next person's ear all the way round the group and compare the original phrase to what was whispered). ... Play alternates between drawing a word/phrase and guessing what those drawings are depicting.

And I'm delighted to hear that you tried a juice cleanse and it went well Josie 😄 Yay for happy lymph nodes 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️🤸 Yes, so much of what people share on Insta is ridiculous and so much of it is awesome. Had to tell what's what, hey?

I've been doing heaps of online study into nutrition to try and heal my gut and am discovering the people I like the best are experts in gut health and are skilled enough to read and understand the latest scientific research and are gifted at explaining what they've learned in a simple way so laypeople like myself can understand the research findings and apply it. Very grateful. It's massively changing the way I view and use food.

I had to double check what would be the difference between a cider and an apple wine and, yes, this is definitely wine. ^^ Stronger than cider.

Thanks for that I defo need id after a 10 foot whipper at yesterdays sportsclimbing session with me ending up landing on the edge of the headwall with both of my shins. It looks aweful and it hurts as f. But I will live and probably tomorrow I will be climbing again.
Besides 420 my biggest addiction for sure is to grind those grades and get better.
Some gory horror movie wound as it looks. its a small puncture and probably should have been stitched once. But give the situation I rather stay out of hospitals.
Getting my booster shot today.

Damn... that sucks, but yeah I understand you about the hospitals. And that's the scary part with young children. For us, we basically try to survive with the skills or friends we have, but for them will be different.

I have a friend that loves climbing too... that looks like a nice addiction. I think mine will be swimming and getting some sun on the following days.

So I used Beeswap for the first time to get some of the chaos tokens and it seemed easier and cheaper than the hive engine. I swapped hive to hive swap then hive swap to Chaos token then used the chaos token in the splinterlands game to get more cards. But this Beeswap pool and pairs is totally new to me.
So its some sort of investment system for your Tokens/Hive where they can earn???
You choose a pair, swap hive and then add to the liquidity pool and then that earns, this all seems very interesting and I will have to spend a bit more time looking into it all and understanding more.

On a different subject has anyone hear of Gods Unchained some people are talking about it at work.

Seems very much like splinterlands on the Ethereum network but free to start. There must be some sort of catch as I thought ETH is expensive but these people are giving away heaps of card packs even then I lose a battle?? Seems better than splinterlands as I seem to be getting more for free quicker but the question is is there any value to what they are giving me on there marketplace. Suppose they just want to get people started and in the door. My thinking is it can be any better long term if they have bigger overheads on ETH.

My risingstar hat has arrived and am looking forward to trying to add it a few photo post adventures in the future.

This DeFi (Decentralized Finance) where you can make use of contracts (built-in Hive-Engine) to invest and transact (swap) liquids at High Volumes without suffering the trading reactive market so heavily.

These are usually pairs, and you add/remove liquidity using both sides. Supporting any swaps that need to happen between the two pairs. In exchange, the pool offers some % of the fees to the investors (this is not yet very exposed, on how much, but too good to be true on high volume pairs). The basics of this for those who want to start playing with it is to look at what APR is offered (using the BeeSwap UI).

Be watching the new markets (pairs), they usually offer crazy APR's... like SWAP.HIVE:BXT... that on the first days it was something like +2000%... if you have lots to invest in those moments... you get the buck!

Currently, everything is based on a 24 hour period... so when you add/remove funds you have to think it will only take effect <24 hours later. Play a bit with some tokens, and let me know any questions.

To be honest, I lost this one... @acidyo was doing a huge initiative but due to not being able to attend to everything, I kind of lost it. May still give it a try eventually. I can't comment much about it then... But nice to know that someone here is going to try it. 😎🤘

Anything you find, let us know... but watch anything that needs too many fees... usually it's because there is a time limit for doing a buck on something.

Busy week with a lot of streamraiders and we made it play to earn. Since the rewards from the game itself are not NFTs we decided to give away SL cards with the chests! So whoever gets chosen by the randomizer of Streamraiders will be rewarded additional NFTs
@splinternews still needs to grow but we are on a good way to reach 750 followers on twitch. Not doing so well on hive but my viewers will learn that this is rewarding for them as well.
Also splinternews started a treasure hunt for one chaos legion pack so thats why I leave a clue here. First clue can be found on the blog of @splinternews. The LINKID is 685170 how you can use this clue can be found in HERE

Was the increase in Bee rewards due to impermanent loss or from buying them off the market?

I like using the earth deck for poison fights due to all the cards available to me with the self-heal ability.
