Sauteed Tomato Vermicelli

What do you think about tomatoes? Types of fruit or vegetables? I think tomatoes are a type of fruit, but strangely, tomatoes can also be a vegetable and a complement to a dish. I call it an animal that can live in two worlds like a frog, right?
The story about tomatoes, this time I made a special dish, so special that when I saw my husband eating my cooking, he even added 2 dishes, I was very proud of myself. They say I specialize in cooking stir-fries, especially Chinese food. In my opinion, I have a good tongue and instincts in cooking, because I can combine several ingredients and spices well from my tongue which has quite an eye for taste.
Actually, when it come to cooking, I think everyone can cook, as long as they are will to learn. Of course, learning will involve lots of failure and difficulties and it will be worth it when you can make something special from your own hand. Although there are some people who are talented in cooking, talent can be beaten by anyone who is willing to try. The simple thing is that you have to study a lot to know many things and be able to make something special according to your interests.
Today's food menu starts from my father-in-law's favorite, who really likes, oh of course not just likes, he is an obsession with vermicelli, almost every day he buys vermicelli to eat for breakfast, and I think this time I want to deliver something to my in-laws' house, namely special food. his favorite. This time, it's quite simple to make tomato vermicelli which is nutritious and high in protein and fiber.
It's simple, you need several ingredients such as:
Ingredients:
- 2 packs of vermicelli
- 2 eggs
- 1 spring onion
- 2 cloves of red onion, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 tomato and 5-7 pcs cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce and 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
- Salt and mushroom stock to taste
- 1 liter of water
How to make Tomato Vermicelli:
- Soak 2 packs of vermicelli 2 hours before cooking, you can also use warm water or just plain water. After 2 hours of soaking, drain it from the water so that it dries and has a soft texture.
- Thinly slice all ingredient such as; shallots, garlic, spring onion and tomato, wash them thoroughly first and then prepare them before frying.
- Heat a little oil in a wokpan, then start addi the ingredients one by one and stir fry until the aroma comes out.
- After saute the spices, add the tomato and egg, then stir well so that the egg are crushed. Then add the vermicelli and green onions, after that the mushroom stock, salt, sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce. Taste a little to find out the right taste.
- Tomato vermicelli is ready to be served!
