1Q84 Volume 1– Haruki Murakami

Unusually, I write to tell a story about a legendary person from his writing. Many people write in their own way, just like a Japanese Novel writer named Haruki Murakami. It's simple, he has a good way of conveying his imagination in all of his Novel works.

I found out about Murakami from a podcast, of course, I'm not someone who likes to spend time reading novels. I don't have many novels and books like most book lovers, but I like to read things I want to read, things that make me very curious.

1Q84 - Volume 1

Haruki Murakami in his Novel entitled 1Q84, was able to make me set aside time to read each chapter without getting bored. The story is detailed and makes me very warm in every word of the contents of the novel. In this novel, I have only finished 1 volume, I have bought the second volume and will then enter the new chapter of the 1Q84 trilogy.

Let's discuss a little about the entire contents of the novel in volume 1, describing the lives of two different people, named Tengo and Aomame. Each chapter tells their lives separately to build a dense plot of each character. Slowly I could even find out how they both lived, even how they breathed. Everything is detailed without exception.

Murakami is very possessive of both characters, building a storyline from Tengo and Aomame's childhood. What about their jobs and slowly describing their surroundings. A book that I think is very slow, but it made me not stop reading it. In fact, I started reading this book on August 5, until finally finishing it on the 9th. That's what made me feel like I had to write down my expression about this book as soon as possible.

This book is very mature, like there is a soul and passion, although it seems too slow for a kind of trilogy, which is said this book is too thick if combined into 1. However, it feels like you don't want the story to end just like that, maybe you will miss reading it again.

There is one sentence that I like in this book, I read and interpreted the words of Murakami over and over again. That: don't live like you're brain dead. This makes me wonder, many people live like they're 'brain dead'. Where he carries out all the orders of his superiors without knowing what to do and what is good for him, just to live without having to make a decision for himself, played by others, not living his life as he wants to do.

Murakami explains how the two characters live in loneliness, this continues to be a shadow in every chapter described from the lives of Tengo and Aomame. The two characters who turned out to have the same difficult times and turned out to know each other and are related. They live in their own circles and imaginations, the past that became trauma.

What is Volume 2 of Haruki Murakami's novel 1Q84 like? I will explain it again later and it seems like I have to read it first.

See you the next time hive friends!
