Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge! | Djinn Chwala, reliable tank
Dawn of the Djinn 4 of 4 - Only a short time after the Djinn were released, most of them were already seeing their elemental captivity as a blessing rather than a curse. They had far greater power than before, now that they were working with the force of the Planet at their backs. Pursuit of power was at the core of Belludae beliefs, so most of them would make small sacrifices for greater power.

My Line Up Explanation
- Leagues = Silver 3
- Little Leagues = All Monsters have the Enrage ability (Increase Melee attack and Speed when damaged. Values are multiplied by 1.5 and rounded up. Prefer Melee monsters with Sneak, Opportunity in the back row)
- Target Practice = All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability (Keep a no attack, Magic or Ranged monster in position 2 with Shield, Void, Magic Reflect, Return Fire.
Triage helps in this ruleset.) - 48 mana = high mana cap so obviusly will maximize the monsters slot
- summoner = Only Dragon and Light can be used
The summoner that I used in this battle was Delwyn Dragonscale, its a promo common dragon summoner, and I used the gold foil that delegated to me. the strategy that I want to use is killing the enemy's monsters one by one, so focusing on magic attacks will help me reach this goal. since this card is level 4, so I will be able to summon higher level monsters.
The cards to discuss today is Djinn Chwala, it's an epic reward card from chaos legion edition. I put Djinn Chwala at the front line to be my tank. I would say this cards fit to be a tank because it has 9 health as well as 5 armor. not to mention the thorns ability that will suffers enemy's melee monsters. this card will take damage and deal damage at the same time
The second monsters I used in this battle is silvershield knight, I put it in the second position to be a second tank, eventhough it doesn't have reach ability this card is still useful because it buff my melee damage by inspire ability. this card also fits as a tank because it has quite high speed to evade melee and ranged attacks.
The third monsters I used is another epic reward card from chaos legion edition, it is Djinn Renova. since the rulesets is target practice so I put this card as the first target from magic and ranged attacks from the enemy's monsters because it has the highest health amongs my other magic monsters. this card will not only receiving damage but also will dealing damage since it has 2 magic attacks
The fourth card was Time mage, I think I didn't put this card in a proper place, it's better to put this card in behind because it has low health and gonna be a nice target in target practice rulesets. despite her lame speed this card is actually useful to deal magic damage at level 3 and giving speed debuff to the enemy's monsters. I personally bought this card and makes it level 3.
The fifth monster that I summoned in this battle was Gold Dragon, it is a legendary dragon card. it is a powerful magic card. having 2 magic attacks and 8 health will allow it to deal more damage as the battle goes. its speed and flying ability will help it survive longer in this battle by evading melee and ranged attacks.
last but not the least, I have another magic monsters from the Chaos Legion edition, having 2 magic attacks this cards catches my eyes in the first sight, without further thinking I directly bought one copy of this card. since it fits in green deck very well by providing 2 magic attacks and 5 health that quite high compare to other level 1 magic monsters.
Did My Strategy Worked? What will I do Differently?
From the battle we can see that I won the match easily, eventhough my chwala didn't give killing contribution but it is doing a good job as a tank down there. my magical troops successfully destroys enemy's monsters by dealing continues damage, thanks to time mage allowing us to move early in that battle.
About Djinn Chwala
What I like about this monster :
- Tough Tank Looking at this cards stats will not dissappoint anybody that want a good tank in the front line
- Thorn ability compare to other torn mosnters in chaos legion edition this card is better in overall stats (venari knifer and cursed windeku)
What i don't like about this monster:
- Lack of speed, compare to other thorn monsters, venari knifer and cursed windeku speed this card has lower speed making it difficult to use when facing high speed enemy
When to use Djinn Chwala
I suggest you to use this monster only for this situation:
- Back to basics rule in this ruleset is all about using best stats card, without looking at ability, this card defense and offense are great
- Equal opportunity, melee mayhem and super sneak, This card ability and stats will be very helpful in this situations
- reverse speed this cards 2 speed will be a good choice in this situations
When to Avoid using Djinn Chwala :
I don't recommend you to use this monster for this situation below:
- low mana cap, this cards mana requirement is quite high, so instead using only this card, its better to choose combinations of cards to win the battle
