Chaos Knights are most often found at the front line of the Chaos Legion's invading forces, although they are sometimes enlisted to defend garrisons, leadership, and other high-value assets. They are heavily armored and wield massive battle axes that are able to cut down even the mightiest of foes.

My Line Up Explanation
- leagues = Silver 2
- Heavy Protection = Monsters with magic attack may not be used in battles
- Holy Protection = All monster have the divine shield ability
- 46 mana = this was high mana, so I will definately use full 6 monsters
- summoner = Water and Death summoner can't be used
The summoner that I used in this battles was Delwynn DragonScale. It is a common dragon summoner from the promo edition, currently it is not playable freely in the game but you can use him by renting this card in the market or peakmonsters. Delwyn give +1 to all ally magic monsters, so I can fully use the effect of Delwyn in this battle by using mainly magic monsters and his level though can be useful to summon higher level monsters. I have some cards that already level up to certain level so using delwyn it not that bad in this case and remember that he is a gold foil card, you will earn dec bonus by using this card.
The highlight monster in this battle gonna be my tank, with chaos knight I was planning using him as a tank to receive damage if my enemy was using light summoner which has a lot ranged damage, I also aware tha the enemy will choose earth that consist mainly on magic monsters but I thought this monsters health is enough to receive at least 2 magic monsters attack. this card is on level 3 and gain +1 to speed and attack, his speed will make it attack faster compare to free playable card in current update, not many monsters that has high speed.
The socond monsters is silvershield knight this card is a gold card from alpha edition if I'm not mistaken, this card is my supporting card and as a second tank, his inspire ability gives +1 melee damage to all ally monsters, chaos knight will be buff from this ability, what I also like from this card is having 4 base speed and 2 melee attack already making him as a dangerous second tank. he also has shield to slow the damage to his health, my plan was make chaos knight deal more damage to enemy tank and my magic monsters will deliver additional damage later.
using delwyn as a summoner is quite easy you just need to give a lot magic monsters to the game, so I choose time mage to fill my magic damage slot, not only his damage is useful but also her slow ability that will affect all enemy monsters, this slow debuff making my chaos knight's chance on hitting enemy monsters higher, this car is free to play card but I already bought her and level up to level 3 that's why her magic attack is 2, normally this card has 1 magic attack. this card mana requirement is low so this card is very suitable with my strategy
Another life magic attack monsters is on the battlefield, Djinn renova. this creature will also be my magic damager as her magic attack is 2, speed is also 2 but that doesn't matter since magic attacks always hit in normal battle, howefer this card mana requirement need extra mana but still reasonable to use her in my line-up, the other thing that makes me like this card is her strengthen ability which gives friendly monsters gain +1 extra health. this buff will make every monsters that I have survive longer in the battle
Gold dragon is at fifth position, to be honest I mess up in placing this card in the fifth position, why I thought its better to use this card in front position or at behind upline. this card can be used a tank cause having lots of health and flying ability to avoid melee and ranged attack. this card health is high and can receive damage and give time to other attackers to keep attacking enemy, this card +2 magic attack is very useful to use along with delwyn summoner, basically any +2 monsters magic attack is good
the last card I use is magi of chaos this card is an epic card from chaos legion edition, this was my last card in my deck that has +2 magic attack, so use this card is a good bargain, this card has 5 health and 2 speed, not a good stat but it is enough to avoid one hit kill by enemy monsters, my plan in using this card in my line-up was to add another magic attacker in my team to destroy enemy line-up, while chaos knight become a tank in the frontline, this magi of chaos become damager in backline
Did My Strategy Worked? What will I do Differently?
the chaos knight as a tank in this battle was not to good because mainly enemy uses magic attack but his 4 attack can receive some damage from the enemy monsters, My magic attack strategy was succesful as usual magic monsters is easy to use, if the enemy main attack was melee and ranged attack, my tank will receiver huge damage and my magic will destroy the enemy faster.
Chaos Knight
What I like about this monster :
- has 3 melee attack Attack, this card basic attack is 3, this attack is one of the highest compare to other free card in chaos legion
- shield abilty thus making this card hard to beat by enemy ranged and melee attack.
What i don't like about this monster:
- Low health, this card low healt is vurnurable to magic attacks, but you can use djinn renova to give health buff to this card
- high mana for low health tank, usually tanks with low health require low mana as well to be summoned
When to use chaos knight
I suggest you to use this monster only for this situation:
- When you need a tough tank especially when earth splinter can't be used, this card will be tough to beat
- Up close and personal that allow only monsters with melee attack can be used in battles, this card would be even harder to beat if you are using it with demoralize monsters such as disintegrator
- On earthquake Ruleset. shield ability is quite helpful in this ruleset as you only lose 1 health each turn instead of 2.
- Weak magic ruleset, in this ruleset this card is worth to use because the magic will hit the shield before its health while melee and ranged attack already lowered with shield ability
When to Avoid using chaos knight :
I don't recommend you to use this monster for this situation below:
- when the enemy will likely choose magic deck, in this case you need tank with high health or tank with void instead
- in high mana cap, well this card is not so good tank especially in high mana cap, there are shieldbearer to use, or other tank with high health
