Splinterlands Social Media Challenge! | Xenith Monk (My Best Tank in Little Leagues)
Xenith Monks created the Xenith Scale, a society devoted to enlightenment, knowledge, and the protection of others. Xenith Monks focus on expanding their minds to become more self aware and strive to achieve pure balance in all things in order to understand and comprehend Mana and its impact on the Splinterlands. The code of the Xenith Scale focuses on the art of healing, shielding, and directing the flow of Mana. Be a shield to those in need. Be a guiding light in the darkness. Be a helping hand to the weary. Be an unmoving scale, balanced as all things should be.

My Line Up Explanation
- Leagues = Silver 3
- Little Leagues = Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles.
- 20 mana = high mana cap in terms of little leagues ruleset, we need to pick best card possible only
- summoner = Fire and Light can't be used
The summoner that I used in this battles was Obsidian, it's quite risky choosing obsidian in this battle as the death splinter can be chosen but I trust my deck power especially my Obsidian is level 2, it's advantage for me, since in silver 3 it's rare to see leveled summoners. Because my summoner at level 2 therefore making me be able to summon level-up monsters.
The card that I wanna discuss is a tank so I put this card in the tank position to show everyone his true potential. At level 2 this card has heal ability, making this card super cool, the ability will heal this card health making it sustain in the battle longer, it's own based health is quite high (6 health) it's. this card health will be healed by 2 points each turn (cmiiw) due to his 6 health
the next monster I choose to use is a legendary card from the chaos legion, this card is a neutral card so can be used in different splinter combo. besides that, this card has triage ability that also heal the health of our monsters, the difference is this triage monsters will heal the backrow monsters that received the most damage. I put this card in the second position to prevent death elemental to one hit kill my monsters.
The third monsters I used is still a legendary and also from the chaos legion edition (reward card) this card is also super cool, only need 3 mana to use and having camouflage ability that only allow this card to be targeted if it is in the front row. that ability ensures that this card will continuosly deliver a magic attacks, so I put it in the middle to fully maximize it's potential
The fourth card was Khmer Princess, this princess only need 2 mana to be used in the battlefield, its very useful in any situations. I put the princess in this position to avoid her being hitted by death elemental from the Death splinter that can kill this card in one attacks, this cards stats its not that good but it's always a good bargain in terms of filling the 2 mana left.
last but not the least, I have another monsters from the Chaos Legion edition, What I like from this monsters is his dispel ability (when this card hit enemy it will clear all positive effect on that enemy. Besides that, this card has 3 health, can be healed by spirit hoarder if it took 1 damage, this is my last magic attacker hope will directly sent enemy's monsters to the graveyard.
Did My Strategy Worked? What will I do Differently?
I was surprised by the enemy's strats but I guess he was predicting me to pick death splinter and counter it with the kelya summoners, but unfortunately I used Obsidian on from the first sight we can know that I won the match already. the enemy's Xenith monk get killed in two of my monsters attack, the enemy's magic monster couldn't kill my Xenith monk therefore the enemy lose this battle
About Xenith Monk
What I like about this monster :
- Flexible not because it is a neutral card but its stats fits in several chaos legion summoners such as tarsa, quix and kelya
- Heal ability This is the most cheapest card that has heal ability that you can owned, heal ability is useful in various situations
What i don't like about this monster:
- 1 melee attack only, It will be awesome if this card has 2 melee attacks
When to use Exploding Rats
I suggest you to use this monster only for this situation:
- Little leagues rulesets This card is one of the best tank in low mana cap, so I really recommended this card
- Equal opportunity, melee mayhem and super sneak, This card is a good choice as a tank whether in front row or last row.
- earthquake and noxious fumes after this card hits by the effect of those rules it will recover to a full health (in normal case)
When to Avoid using exlpoding rats :
I don't recommend you to use this monster for this situation below:
- high mana cap, this card attack is low, you might need a good attacks instead, and better tank of course.
- Reverse rulesets, this cards high speed will become a weakness in reverse speed rulesets
