Radiated Brute High Speed and Attack! | Share Your Battle Challenge
The spreading blight on the continent of Praetoria twisted both the land and its people. Plants and animals were the first to become corrupted. Fungus sprouted from vegetation and gave them sentience. Animals grew extra limbs, heads, and grew to extraordinary sizes. Then the people fell ill. Some thought it was from the plague brought about by Doctor Blight. Others thought perhaps it was from the poisonous gases that seeped from the fissures near the volcano. Whatever it was, those who survived the sickness were changed. They mutated, grew stronger, and were filled with an uncontrollable rage. Some were unable to control that rage and went on murderous rampages. Others fought to maintain their sanity long enough to protect their family, friends, and neighbors from themselves. They fled into the Jade Thicket, where they became as feral as the wild animals of the continent. The people of Praetoria referred to them as Radiated Brutes.

My Line Up Explanation
- Leagues = Gold 3
- Explosive Weaponry = All Monsters have the Blast ability.
- Earthquake = Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.
- 54 mana = high mana cap so obviuosly will maximize the monsters slot
- summoner = Water and Dragon can't be used
I used my scholarship account in this battle. because it has radiated brute in level 6. The summoner that I used was gold Tarsa. This summoner will give +1 melee attack and +1 health to ally monsters. Radiated brute will get buffed and making it more powerful in this battle
Forgotten one is my main tank in this battle, I highly recommended this card to be used when you are sure your enemy will not use magic monsters. The retaliate makes this card scary cause it will have 50% chance to attacking its attacker back. The immunity also helps this card stays scary in every battle.
Today's main character is radiated brute. This card is placed at the second position because it has reach ability that will allows it deals damage. It is a good monsters to give additional damage to enemy's tank. The second ability that this card's posses is enrage ability which will increase this card's melee and speed when damaged. luckily this battles ruleset is explosive weaponry, so it will activated the enrage faster.
Tenyii striker is a good melee attacks from the fire splinter. I used this card to separate my attacks. in case the enemy was putting weak monsters in the last position.
this card also has dodge ability. I was wrong not to put this card on the last position to avoided more attacks.
The fourth monsters that I used in this battle was molten ash golem. although this card has low speed but this card has high health to cover its lame speed. this card debuff will also helpful to give advantage to our monsters. I put this ranged card in this position to make use of its close ranged whenever my tanks is dead.
My strategy was separating my attack type cause who knows the enemy will use anti magic/range/melee deck. By differentiate our monsters it will reduce their strategy. In this position I used Djinn Apprentice to give different attacks that will counter the enemy's tank that has shield ability
In Explosive weaponry ruleset, it is better if we used high speed monsters to attacks first and probably will kill the enemy's monsters due to the blast effect
. Supply runner has the ability to increase ally monster's speed stat. this cards speed is already high so I put it in the last position to avoid enemy's attacks but I would say tenyii striker is better in this position instead
Did My Strategy Worked? What will I do Differently?
Getting melee buff from Tarsa and speed buff from suplly runner making my monsters be able to attacks first and dealing massive damage, making luminous eagle suffer from blast and get killed by Radiated brute on his first attack. Unfortunately radiated brute couldn't attack in the enrage stage cause it get killed by the blast effect. On the second round enemy's monsters get killed one by one due to low health. My winning point here is using high attacks monsters that maximize the effect of blast. unfortunately we couldn't witness the enrage radiated brute in this battle but I hope you get the point on how to use this card
About Radiated Brute
What I like about this monster :
- Reach ability this card is good to use as a support attack that will finish the low health of enemy's monsters. we can put this card behind the tank that still could allow him attacking
- Enrage ability When this card getting damage this card will activated enrage and inrease its attacks and speed making it fearsome during the rest of the battle
- low mana spend this card is considered low mana given the attacks and useful ability. I used this card a lot.
What i don't like about this monster:
- low health, This monsters weakness is his low health, but tarsa could cover this weakness. if we get health buff this card will be very useful
- Good in high level only To be honest I used this card a lot only in level 6 cause it has enrage ability. this card is good to have at least we level it up first
When to use Radiated Brute
I suggest you to use this monster only for this situation:
- need supporting damage if you need to focusing on dealing damge in one way. this card is a good choice to have
- earthquake/noxious fumes, his enrage ability will activated by the poison and earthquake damage, thus making it usefull in the following turn
- Equalizer this ruleset will cover its low health weakness.
When to Avoid using Radiated Brute :
I don't recommend you to use this monster for this situation below:
- back to basic this card is not that good compare to other melee attacks, but if you need a filler this card could be your option tho
- reverse speed this card 3 speed will be a problem if used in the reverse speed ruleset as it will be considered slow instead
