Some Traditions are Family Heritage
Hello Hive Naija Community! Welcome to my blog. In Pakistan different families follow different traditions. Most of them are similar in many families. They are also alike in India and Afghanistan as well. To follow them is our responsibility. We always feel joy, pleasure and rejoice by celebrating them. Today I've decided to share some of my family traditions here, I hope you will enjoy.
It is our family tradition when either someone is born or someone is died, we all family members present our support in the form of charity. When someone is died at age of 25 Years, we make a family get to gather where everyone put money into the charity box. Moreover, the elite and rich family members take the main responsibilities like education and health expenses etc of the affected family. It provides more support in terms of feelings and finance. We proudly follow this tradition.
Henna Tradition
In whole Pakistan, Henna Tradition is very popular. When there is any event, our women like to put henna tattoo/designs on hands/arms and feet. Women excitedly follow this family tradition. There was a time in my childhood, I also have participated this tradition. But we men now are rarely follow it due to Islamic Restrictions.
Buck Slaughter
Whenever someone came from another country we arranged a family party. In this party, we slaughtered a number of bucks. The chops of these bucks are roasted with different spicy ingredients. The flavour and aroma of the mutton gathered all family members. We enjoy not only mutton but also chitchat as well.
Kite-Flying Season
Our kids and some elders gathered at a place to fly kites. Different coloured and different designed kites are decorated on the sky. They are source of pleasure, entertainment and family rejoice. The yearly Kite competitions helped us balancing family relationships. It is one of the best family relationship in which I participated many times.
Kabbadi
It is one of the most popular sport in Asia. Our family plays an important role in it. Each family did their best to raise their kids as Kabaddi Players. Each Family member takes care about nutrition and activities of Kabbadi Kids. It provides advanced family refreshments as well as family recreation. Every year, a Kabbadi competition held in our family and we participated in it with great excitement. It is an honour to be a Kabaddi Champion.
Conclusion
Family rites and family traditions are family heritage. We should love, like and respect them. With specific tradition and specific rite, we represent our family. We should held some events in family that will be sourc of family gathering. A family that gathered for specific event is more organised and have more unity chances. There are different families traditions around Pakistan. People excitedly participate in it. I'm good kiter, good Kabbadi Player and a good family donor who actively participate in family charity programs. Moreover, I emphasize on my siblings to remember and to celebrate these traditions. These traditions are transferred from generations after generations. I hope, our family heritage will be followed in each era similar way. I'm happy to share some of these families traditions here. I hope you have enjoyed my today write up.

Ooooh. Wait... I think there was a movie I saw where Sharukh Khan was saying "Kabadi"... it is a sport? I thought it was just a chant before he landed a blow on his opposer.
The Muslims here also use Henna although we have another name for it, "Leli". I used it occasionally too
Yes, it is a sport. You can search about the Kabaddi Game on the internet and you will enjoy it. Leli looked at an interesting name. I appreciate you because you also know about Muslim Culture as well, have a good day.
