Bangladesh Vs Sri Lanka : World Cup Preparatory Match Post-Discussion
Cricket world cup matches are going to be on the display on 5th october onwards and still a weeks time to wait and I am just saying its never easy to wait and see what happens next. India would be a tough team to beat and their recent performances and team combination is one threat that would be seen in the coming matches.
I think, you guys know it well that its never that approachable to set a challenge in the forest with the tiger because its their abode and home, when the world cup is hosted in India, it gets to a tough challenge what I am assuming. Those of us who know cricket well and have seen teams to play in big tournament, at least the cricketing history do say that - host nations gather around 80% of their luck and home conditions in their favour to win the title.

Back in 2011, India could win that time and nobody could deny that the pitch condition is one big influence that helps a team to win. India has the rich player in their pipeline, they are world class - thats for sure. But, ideally Asian nations participating in the world tournament would be the likeliest who would take up the advantage, the weather would be a big factor for sure.
Today,Bangladesh played with Sri-Lanka a preparing match before combating for the programmed matches. The team Tigers won the match quite convincingly with a 7 wickets win, that just signifies what sort of potential would be for the team in the upcoming events, when they will have to fight out with the cricketing superpowers.
In my last sports blog, I wrote about the incident about the team selection where a key opener, Tamim Iqbal missed out of the squad that created a huge dispute, arguments, resentment and anguish for not being able to able him in the team. The local and international cricketing news and coverages headlined the phenomenon. That issue was a big influence which made a dark impression on the team that settled in India for conditioning camp.
What I like to highlight here is the fact that, Sri Lanka as a team performed really well in the last Asia cup that was played in Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Lankan Bowlers are more capable at performing well in their indigenous conditions. When they bowl, it looks as that they could take half of the all wickets less than 20 overs in an Odi match setting. In todays match, in my observation - I saw them to down perform in most occasions.
But, of course after the first preparatory match,I think the whole credit of winning should go to the batsmen, specially the two young opener who played sensibly and steadily, ball by ball until constructing a solid baseline upon which the team could chase down 265 target well before the full quota of overs. That is a nice indicator that says what range of possibilities are still available for the team tigers.
As I said that, this edition of world cup would be interesting, that brings out more of facts and world of cricket would be very busy in the next upcoming month, thats my take. Bangladesh have got a solid start and many each team would get 2 match to play for preparation before competing in the group stage matches. There would be many drama to come for sure and stories we will remember for a long time.
I hope, you also stay tune in cricket for more fun.
I'm fully surprised 😀
Liton Das scored his all runs in this warm-up match 🤣
Ha ha, dont say that.. This Bechara is just started to open up his bat, he might score a duck in the original match, 😀
But I think, Liton is a class and stylish batter, what his weak point is that he gets nervous unreasonably among other factors.
I hope he fits well and sorry for Tamim Iqbal to miss out, but guess what - we have got another Tamim who is also impressive..
Best of Luck for Team Tigers.. 💖🏆
