[PL / ENG] Dzień dziecka / Children's Day My Actifit Report Card: June 1 2024

Sobota - dzień dziecka. Żłobek miejski w Kato organizował z tej okazji festyn, a że Bombel miał bardzo miłe wspomnienia z podobnego festynu z okazji urodzin Katowic, związane z grą na pianinie z koleżanką Laurą, to oczywiście był to nasz plan na świętowanie tego dnia. Trzymaliśmy tylko mocno kciuki, żeby pogoda dopisała, bo ostatnio często gęsto pogoda się psuje przez burze.

Saturday - children's day. The city nursery in Kato was organizing a festival on this occasion, and since Bombel had very nice memories from a similar festival on the occasion of Katowice's birthday, related to playing the piano with his friend Laura, this was of course our plan to celebrate that day. We just kept our fingers crossed that the weather would be good, because lately the weather has often been spoiled by storms.

Szczęśliwie było ładnie, choć dość wietrznie. Cieszymy się, że biegówka nie poszła całkiem w odstawkę, bo na spacer po mieście jest idealna. Tempo marszu jest dużo szybsze, niż gdyby Bombel dreptał na nogach, a potrafi nią władać w pełni sprawnie i nie ma obaw, że nie zatrzyma się przed skrzyżowaniem czy coś. Tak więc też przeszliśmy przez centrum Katowic, sprawnie i bez niemiłych przygód, robiąc jeden postój po drodze - na kultowe zapieksy z ogórem czy bez.

Luckily it was nice, although quite windy. We're glad that cross-country skiing hasn't been completely abandoned, because it's perfect for a walk around the city. The pace of walking is much faster than if Bombel was walking on his feet, and he can use it fully efficiently and there is no fear that he will not stop before an intersection or something. So we went through the center of Katowice, efficiently and without any unpleasant adventures, making one stop along the way - for the iconic pies with or without cucumber.

Na miejscu oczywiście mega tłum. Większość dzieci znacznie starsza niż te żłobkowe, pomimo że organizatorem był żłobek. Atrakcje były zarówno dla maluchów, jak i dla tych nieco starszych, ale niestety również na małym dmuchańcu skakały starsze dzieci i Bombel z tego tytułu miał trochę słuszne obawy, że oberwie podczas tej zabawy jakimś długim łokciem czy kolanem.

Of course, there was a huge crowd there. Most of the children were much older than the nursery children, even though the organizer was a nursery. There were attractions for both the little ones and the slightly older ones, but unfortunately older children were also jumping on the small inflatable and Bombel was rightly afraid that he would get hit with a long elbow or knee while playing.

Najlepszą atrakcją był znowu kącik muzyczny. Panie naprawdę świetnie prowadziły zajęcia muzyczne. Niestety, pianino (keyboard) było wyłączone, więc Bombel nie miał szans pograć na nim z Laurą, ale za to pograli na innych instrumentach i było super.

The best attraction was the music corner again. The ladies conducted music classes really well. Unfortunately, the piano (keyboard) was turned off, so Bombel didn't have a chance to play it with Laura, but they played other instruments and it was great.

No i szybki powrót, bo burza już wisiała nad głowami, a nas goniło przeznaczenie: musieliśmy jeszcze wpaść na budowę odebrać klucze do kłódki drzwi tymczasowych, a potem jechaliśmy do znajomych.

And a quick return, because the storm was already hanging over our heads and our fate was chasing us: we had to drop by the construction site to pick up the keys to the temporary door padlock, and then we were going to visit our friends.
