Apreciar la Danza también es toda una experiencia! 💃🏽✨ [ESP-ENG]

Hacía muchísimo tiempo que no presenciaba un evento de Baile desde el público y no imaginan lo feliz que me hizo y cuánto me inspiró. El domingo 25/02, fue el homenaje de los 70 años de carrera artística de la Maestra Mery Cortéz, organizado propiamente por su Academia. Como tanto la caracteriza, ofreció un súper espectáculo, con un musical que recordó momentos de toda su trayectoria (como coreógrafa de venevision, por ejemplo) y mostrando mucha de la realidad que vivimos los Bailarines detrás de un simple evento (castings, ensayos, protocolo, etc). De hecho, es importante para mi resaltar que mi carrera como Bailarina comenzó con ella, desde los 4 añitos estuve formándome de manera integral hasta aproximadamente un poco más de 9 años en su academia.

Por supuesto, mucho le agradezco, forjé valores que me caracterizan como Bailarina por medio de todos los profesores, a los que les tengo mucho cariño y respeto (en el evento pude ver a dos) y pues claramente no quería dejar de asistir a ese evento tan importante para su carrera, porque gente, son 70 años dedicándose a este bello arte.

Muchas de las presentaciones me revivieron recuerdos de los eventos anuales que se tenían en la Academia, impresionantemente nunca se me borró la sonrisa del rostro y eso fue demasiado reconfortante. Se me salieron unas lagrimitas también de la nostalgia y felicidad y como les comenté en un inicio, termine muy inspirada y convencida que quiero Bailar toda mi vida. La danza despierta muchas sensaciones bonitas, si ya de por si estar en el escenario es una completa experiencia, estar de ese lado del público también lo es. Así que intentaré cada cierto tiempo asistir a eventos para alimentar a mi musa, jajaj🥰. It had been a long time since I had witnessed a dance event from the audience and you can't imagine how happy I was and how much it inspired me. On Sunday, February 25, was the tribute to the 70th anniversary of the artistic career of Mery Cortéz, organized by her Academy. As it characterizes her so much, she offered a super show, with a musical that recalled moments of her entire career (as a choreographer for Venevision, for example) and showing much of the reality that we dancers live behind a simple event (castings, rehearsals, protocol, etc). In fact, it is important for me to emphasize that my career as a dancer began with her, since I was 4 years old I was training in an integral way until approximately a little more than 9 years in her academy.

Of course, I am very grateful to her, I forged values that characterize me as a dancer through all the teachers, to whom I have much affection and respect (in the event I could see two of them) and clearly I did not want to miss this event so important for her career, because people, it is 70 years dedicating to this beautiful art.

Many of the presentations brought back memories of the annual events that were held at the Academy, impressively never wiped the smile off my face and that was too comforting. I also had a few tears of nostalgia and happiness and as I mentioned at the beginning, I ended up very inspired and convinced that I want to dance all my life. Dance awakens many beautiful sensations, if already being on stage is a complete experience, being on that side of the audience is also.
