     We all have our own special ways of showing our love for the ASEAN Hive Community, but do you love this community enough to get a PERMANENT ASEAN HIVE TATTOO? This Filipino ASEAN Hiver went to the extreme and did exactly that, definitely a first.

     This new tattoo is a secret for now because he's not sure how his friends and family will feel about it. Luckily the secret is safe with us ASEAN Hivers, so we'll keep tight lips until he chooses to reveal these beauties to the world.

     No matter where you go in the world there are always some crabby and unsocial people. That is not the case for this hilltop temple in Thailand, home to the FRIENDLIEST PRIKKE IN THAILAND.

     Carefully note my spelling, although this dog is technically a Prikke, it's actually a she, and she's very friendly. So, next time you hear someone say they know a friendly prick, you might want to doublecheck the spelling. Read the post and you'll see what a prikke is.

     This BRAVE GENTLEMAN ATE FERNS AND LIVED TO TELL THE TALE, and actually enjoyed it. We normally don't think of ferns as food, but if you all promise to keep a secret, this food source can remain a free and wild food source.

     As Indonesians tend to do, things are often more delicious with copious amounts of red chili, shallots, and garlic. This chef turned some wild plants into a delicious and fiery dish, but let's keep that amongst ourselves so there are enough ferns to feed us all.
