Greetings Hivers, welcome to an all-new curation, the Weekly ASEAN Hive "Hot Goss", where I @justinparke dig up false ASEAN Hive rumors and spread even more, but it's all in satirical fun and support of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

🤷‍♂️ WHAT'S THIS NEW CURATION ALL ABOUT? 🤷‍♀️

     To be honest, I don't fully know yet, but I do know "real news" is printed in columns and I also know a lot of interesting things happen in ASEAN Hive each week,and I'd like to try and take on the job of documenting some of this "hot goss (gossip)" and sharing it with you all each week.

     Even as I write these words, I am imagining a Q&A section, perhaps an interview with a new ASEAN Hiver each week, or even a back-and-forth with one of the @kidsisters or @sreypov. One thing is for certain, the family and I are now back in Cambodia and building a new life, so I deemed it appropriate to start something new in our lovely community, so I hope this slightly satirical curation is to your liking.

It's A Dangerous World Out There

     I thought about naming this new curation the "ASEAN HIVE WEEKLY NEWS UPDATE" or something similar, but I'm a bit of a silly goose, so I opted for "HOT GOSS," a common American slang term for the latest gossip. This title will allow me to be as goofy as I need to be, and I think this new curation has the potential to be full of humor. I just need a few weeks for the format and some other ideas to fully crystalize, and "HOT GOSS" will be FIRE 🔥🔥🔥!!!

     The word on the street is that MONSTERS AND BEASTS ARE OVERRUNNING NORTHERN MYANMAR, but so far no property damage or bodily injury has been reported. One of our very own ASEAN Hive VIPS is reportedly the source of the outbreak, but so far she has refused to stop creating these deceivingly cute beasts. All we can do now is wait until the beasts make a list of their demands.

     Over in Indonesia, one of our newest ASEAN Hive VIPs, @deimage, HAS PROCURED SOME KIND OF STRANGE TIME MACHINE which he used to transport everyone back to a time when the local football field had shorter grass. The locals watched in fear as everything he touched with his orange magic wand instantly disappeared. Luckily everyone seems to be quite satisfied with their new lives in the past, so let the games begin, again.

     Last but not least, WE JUMP OVER TO THAILAND WHERE EVERYTHING IS UP IN SMOKE, or "up in vapor" might be a better expression for this subject matter. Prohibition has almost never worked in my study of history, so it seems Thailand is rethinking their ban e-cigs and vaporizers. Surely there is no coincidence that this subject matter is getting airtime just as Thailand is also beginning to rethink its marijuana laws.

That's It For Now....

     Well, this is already being published late, so I'm gonna call it quits for now, even though I feel like this curation still has some evolving to do. Do you all like the humorous take on things? Next week's Hot Goss is sure to have some improvements. If you hear any hot gossip, do let me know.
