     My wife has been out of town and I've had two sick kids on my hands to take care of the last few days, so things are a little behind schedule in ASEAN Hive. However, no need to worry my VIPs, I hired several nail technicians to hang out in the lounge this week and give you all free mani/pedicures. Guys, you're welcome too, don't be shy.

     I promise the nail technicians are actual humans and not feline in any way, plus they're not being held against their will, and I've even paid them quite handsomely. If you've always to put some googly eyes on your toenails, now is the chance. The screen has been replaced twice, and now the camera doesn't function well. imIt doesn't focus anymore. ate repair shop needed more time to sort things out. So now, the phone is at the shop, I'm using my new phone that has a 5G technology built in, but don't even have a wide angle lens 😂

What exactly is Vietnamese food?

I live in Vietnam so you would think I would know the answer to this but in my travels into the Vietnamese food world I can't really say that I know a real answer to this. Sure I know some of the names of dishes but when I eat them I wouldn't say there is anything particularly geographically specific about them

Eat and Walk Around Concubine Lane, Ipoh, Perak

Out of my curiosity, I searched through Google search, I found out that this place is the home for the mistress of a rich Chinese business tycoon. In another search, it mentioned that this place had been used by Chinese merchants and British officers to kept their mistresses away from their angry wife. After hundreds of years, Concubine Lane with the old historical building that has been maintained well had became one of the famous tourist attractions in Ipoh, Perak.

Hive blog 67: Leaving Big City Life Behind

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} It was time to pack and go wherever my fate is taking me. The closure of the shop where I worked has all been done. The paperworks at the BIR and City Hall has got me loaded for weeks. Thankfully it was all been paid. The shop was cleared with the demolition and keys surrendered at the Admin office. It was quite tiring if you think about it because paperworks was never easy when you commute going government offices to and fro that needs to be processed.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} It's so late at night already but I just still can't sleep. I planned on doing the laundry but my son asked me that he'd go to sleep already. Anyway, without further ado, let me share with you this funny encounter I and my child had when posing at the lovely land mark at our palce. This is a landmark that a traveller is entering the province of Bukidnon, thus "Maayad ha Pag-uma" is written on the sign. That is how the manobos say welcome in a native tongue.
