Β Β Β In the most recent weekly raffle I mentioned the recent new wave of delegations to the @asean.hive curation account, @jack.russelle being the particular Hiver who casually upped his delegation by a few thousand without warning. There is no more pleasant surprise than seeing some surprise massive delegations, and this left me very humbled.
Β Β Β In addition to being a valued delegator, I love reading this guy's posts even if he isn't as prolific as most Hivers. If I could sum up his style of writing and content, I would say many posts are often a slightly cynical take on current events and news from SE Asia, most often Thailand, the country this "farang" resides in.
Β Β Β I'm quite a cynic myself, so I appreciate a little twisted humor. The two recent posts of this Hiver I have shared above and below are both good examples of the type of content I enjoy reading. The Chinese submarine post had me in stitches, and it really captured the stupidity of government perfectly.
Β Β Β I highly recommend you check out this ASEAN Hiver's blog, and give him a follow if you haven't already. I've noticed he's found a little more time recently both post and engage, and I'm enjoying seeing Jack around a little more often. All ASEAN Hives hail @jack.russelle π !!

Yes I have to agree that our guy Jack Russel has a certain cynicism that I can relate to very well. Great to see him/her getting some kudos here!
Glad you can appreciate that cynicism too, sometimes it gets me into trouble here in Cambodia, but I refuse to let this part of my personality die.
