I am still playing catch-up with the curation posts, but I am starting to feel full of energy again after what was and still is a likely COVID infection, so apologies for the tardiness. I knew February was going to be a trying month, but I definitely didn't anticipate this surprise. Anyhow, moving onto the an ASEAN Hiver I'd really like to highlight this week, the one and only @ekavieka.
We have lots of ASEAN Hive members from Indonesia, but not many from Bali, and perhaps this guy is the only one. There aren't many predominantly Hindu areas in SE Asia, so I really enjoy reading his posts about the local culture and history. He's a valued delegator and can often be seen in the comments section of many posts published in our community.
Even though there are no recent posts about Balinese culture and lifestyle from @ekavieka that I can share with you, the above and below posts are good examples of the content I really enjoy reading from this talented Hiver.
I hope you enjoyed learning a little more about this ASEAN Hiver of the Week, and I encourage you visit his blog and give him a follow if you like his content. Thanks @ekavieka for the value you bring to ASEAN Hive through your engagement, delegation, and writing.

Thanks for the support bro.
Yeah, I hope we can see a lot of pictures and stories of beautiful Bali and its tradition. I went to Bali years ago when I was in senior school. My school had trip to Bali , Bedugul, Sanur and other beautiful places. There have been a lot of changes I think today.
yes om, there has been so many differences, even my self can't keep up with the changes that happens in my very own place. you will be surprised when you have the chance to come here
I hope to go someday, especially because many traditions are still shared with Cambodian culture. The king here still keeps 12 ceremonial Hindus who bless certain ceremonies. Even though the country was forcefully converted to Buddhism, this tradition never ceased.
Congratulations to @ekavieka I love reading your post from Bali. Thank you @asean.hive =)
thank you so much my friend. I hope i can share more in the future.
I do wish there more Indonesian Hivers from Bali and Sumatra, but it seems Aceh reigns supreme for Hivers in Indonesia.
Hi hi.. Justin ... I think we need @ekavieka to promote Hive to the Balinese. Indonesia has a huge potential of great Hivers. More than 300 million in population. Even YouTube channels there are huge. hahaha.. Hi hi .. Have a great day.
I have tried to promote it to my friends. I even had a few sign up, but mostly they are giving up, because they don't want to take time to engage, nor they just think it is a waste of time. While most of them spends most of their times on other social media, or most likely engage in a comment battle either on Instagram or facebook.
who was chosen this time... you are all the best
Our Balinese blogger is full of engaging content, thanks for the support.
Yes, yes yes already done it. Also will try to know something more from her writing. Thank you
thank you very much for following, I hope I can enggage more with you by the weekend, a bit busy at the moment
He's such a talented writer, and I always know I have a good read in front of me.
thank you very much for selecting me as hivers of the week.
I will try my best to share more about my traditions and life as a Hindu and Balinese.
I am not the only Balinese actualy here on Hive, my friend @putu3000 is also a Balinese which is unfortunately have never share the post in the Asean hive comunity.
I think I have seen @putu3000 before. Does he/she still post on Hive? You're an awesome Hiver, and I thank you for your contributions to this community.
Eagerly watching the news almost daily to see when Bali opens up fully for visitors. Missing there so much!
It is still long way to go until the government decided to opens up fully. There were some guest from Japan that already coming to Bali.
but yes since we are not fully open, there are so many areas that still not accessible, or has a very limited services, not to mention the mandatory quarantine you have to take.
My family and I would love to travel in SE Asia when the time is right too. Our failed US immigration means we'll always be limited by the Cambodian passports. Luckily, all the SE Asian countries are glad to received Cambodian tourists except maybe Singapore and Brunei, the former of which has only been rude and arrogant to my Cambodian family.
congrats on your achievement
thank you mbak
Thanks for the positive vibes and encouragement you bring to this community.[
