Do not underestimate the title of this curation, Dave is one of our most cherished ASEAN Hivers. He is truly selfless in committing over 30,000 HP to the ASEAN Hive Community curation effort. Since the early days of ASEAN Hive, this gentlemen climbed aboard before the community even had legs to stand on. I never gave up on the idea of what our ASEAN Hive could be, and luckily folks like Dave, @gooddream, and other big delegators believed in me.
Dave is not a Hive whale, and neither are any of the delegators. Although Dave provides the lion's share of our community HP, it is our combined efforts that have taken us this far, and we truly are a grassroots project. I can't believe we consistently rank in the top #25 Hive Communities, and there's no doubt Dave is a huge reason for that. After all, we don't even have a collective $2.00 upvote at the moment, but our rank is according to average post payout. Obviously there are whale eyes watching us even though I've never been formally notified.
Dave's engagement and comments are among the most genuine I've found anywhere on Hive, and the both of us have a very dark sense of humor at times. Because of this, when I see a notification that Dave has commented on one of my posts, I always get excited to see if I'm going to laugh or shake my head when I read it 😂.
It goes without saying that Dave's posts are a joy to read, and I find many parallels and struggles within his family that my family and I also face, which makes reading his content all the more enjoyable. His current employment situation is less than desirable, so I am hoping for 2023 that Dave finds an employer that values him and will treat him a little more human than his current employer. We ASEAN Hivers certainly have nothing negative to say about this upright family man, and hope he continues to bless us with humor, engagement, HP, and entertaining blog posts.

It's true what you @justinparke said,that this guy is so amazing at building a community #aseanhive,until recently the ranking of the community #aseanhive being able to roost at 25 is amazing in my opinion.
I really hope that this community will grow more and more day by day.
That's my hope.
Our ranking is always hard for me to believe, but I certainly haven't done it alone. I have all of you to thank for it, and of course Dave has been a huge part of it.

Considering how much Dave contributes to ASEAN Hive, I could easily make him ASEAN Hiver Of The Week every time 😉. I never would've imagined that this ASEAN Hive Community idea would prosper, but thanks to Dave and some other early delegators, I was inspired to keep pushing and growing our little Hive space. Several years ago SE Asian content wasn't a big presence on Hive, but now we command a lot outside curation support because of our collective efforts and are a community with a good reputation.
Wow! He is indeed an oil to the Asean hive. Greasing and making sure the work in the hive is running smoothly. God bless his very kind soul. I agree with you we should commend kind people. Grateful for their contributions. Just creating ripples on the seeds that he has planted.

because the gift of 30,000 is a very fantastic value, even the gift has exceeded the limit, it's true what you said @justinparke that @davidke20 also has a sense of humor like us ... because every story he shares must have a funny story, , I visit his blog very often, I even comment on his posts very often, but sometimes he doesn't have time to reply to the comments I post ,, I can understand, maybe he is too busy with his work ,,
but every time i look at his blog the sound he gets is only a few, hopefully by this new year he can get a fantastic sound from other whales, every time he shares a new post....
The 30,000 HP given by @davidke20 is really a huge value, if that much is in rupiah, if in my country you can build 1 very luxurious house, but a @davidke20 helps the @aseanhive community with pleasure, and gives 30,000 HP
this is really not enough our thanks to him, he is really very wise and kind... hopefully in 2023 in the future, he can get abundant sustenance, and always be given health by the almighty God... ,,,
I did responded to all the replies, matter of time. Sometimes I came back a week later, but I don't usually skip replies 😁
In addition to this, he certainly brings much needed humor, irony, and sarcasm to ASEAN Hive, and any comment or post from him always grab my attention. I always carefully read his posts because I don't want to miss any hidden gems within 🤣.
It's amazing my friend @davidke20, it seems like we are all members of the ASEAN Hive Community, it's not enough just to say "thank you" to you and also @justinparke, even more than that. Why? Because this community continues to grow bigger and bigger because of hivers like you two, you are big hivers who don't participate in hive politics and it really helps small hivers like us to survive in the hive blockchain. Staying on the #25 ranking of the top hive community is quite an accomplishment. I admire you both my best friend 👍👍
The community need everyone of us to grow. I'm merely supplying fuel, it take someone to steer and that's Justin. We're glad to have us all here, continue to build this community, and have all the users to pave the road for everyone of us ot become who we are.
Thank you for the kind words. I feel really lucky that we are ranked as high as we are and that we have some of the highest average post payouts on HIVE, and no doubt our collective HP is part of that. Our engagement, standards, and quality have garnered the attention of curators beyond our community, and having both our own HP and attention beyond the community is a great asset.
Without Dave we certainly wouldn't be in the top 25, I think that's certain. His belief in the what this community can do has given me much motivation.
