February 1st, 2021This is one of the first time's I have no new delegations to report, but our community HP continues to grow through curation. Most importantly is the overall voting power keeps getting more powerful because I am still unable to reward Southeast Asian content as much as I'd like to.
Even though I mentioned it in the previous raffle post, @davidke's massive delegation increase has been like instant ASEAN Hive rocket boosters. Even though many of us don't have thousands of HP to delegate to our favorite projects, I should remind even a delegation of 5 HP to the @asean.hive curation account is appreciated. It all serves to support Southeast Asian Hive content, and coincidentally the friendliest community on Hive.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every Saturday I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you Hivers (except [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and more fair.
This week's total effective HP is 60,184, and total delegated HP (42,728 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP) is 57,240 HP, so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.
