July 15th, 2023It is raining heavily here in the Cardamom Mountains of Cambodia as I make this raffle post at 11pm, way later than normal, but at least it's getting done. Our kitty was attacked by dogs, so I had to rescue her from a bamboo pole on top of a boulder in the rain the dark, and in the process bruised my butt and cut my foot in several places.
@kriang3teejoe upped his delegation to a whopping 1,625 HP, and @luueetang increased his to 1,110 HP. Last but not least was @ichsannanda, starting off her delegation with a 100 HP, earning her a SILVER VIP title, and of course all the perks that come along with it. As far as delegations go, that pretty much sums up the HP activity.
A strong community is made so by its members, and you ASEAN Hivers are what makes our little space my favorite place to spend my time on the Hive blockchain. I am still powering down everything over 10,000 HP in the @asean.hive account and reserving it for a project to be determined by community members. For now it is less than 1,000 HP, not enough to do anything big yet, but that day is coming real soon.....

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 135,465, and total delegated HP is 124,056 HP (86,848 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
