🤒 How Do You Cure A Common Cold? 🧙
👨💻 Week #54 👩💻
April 17th ➡️ April 24th, 2023Rest and plenty of fluids are surefire way to beat the common cold, but all over the world there are various methods to speed up the recovery time, and that's what this challenge is all about. Whether it be a recipe for a special herbal tea, pharmaceuticals, or even a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup like my mom used to make, I would like to know how you ASEAN Hivers conquer the common cold.
Ginger tea and tiger balm, rest and electrolytes, there are so many ways to tackle the common cold, but particularly for this challenge I'd like to see the methods that personally work for you and/or traditional cures from your country or even a family member. Okay folks, I am excited to see what remedies and cures you all have up your sleeves, and with that in mind let's see the winners of last week's challenge.
Week #53 ASEAN Hive Challenge Winners
🥮 My Favorite Junk Food 🍘
🥮 My Favorite Junk Food 🍘
So much junk food and so little time to taste them all. This challenge was very interesting for me because you can learn a lot about a country through the flavors its citizens enjoy in their favorite junk foods. For the good ole' USA where I originally come from, sugar is our weakness just as it is in many other countries around the world. I saw some snacks familiar and unfamiliar to me in this challenge, and all the entries were really good reads, so it was hard to choose the winners.
1st Prize 🏆 10% Beneficiary & 125 Ecency Points

Honestly, none of these is my most favorite because (haha something had to stand out form all else) but these are all I had; I planned on buying Piattos and Cracklings at the store last night but a parcel came from an online store and I had to pay for it. But to my desire in joining this challenge, I went to the canteen in my workplace and took photos of the junk foods available; I don't want to miss another challenge by delay. I remember I did have photos taken with my favorite junk food but it would take me lots of time to dig it from my files.
2nd Prize 🥈 6% Beneficiary & 75 Ecency Points

When it comes to Filipino chichirya, these are some of my favorites:
CHEEZY - is the Filipino version of Cheetos. It comes with various flavors but my favorite is red hot chili cheese. I like munching on spicy snacks like this. I also like the regular cheese and jalapeño flavors, though.
ONION RINGS - it's funny because I didn't like this when I was younger. I didn't like the taste of onion then, but now, I like it. It has a light onion flavor and it's actually easy to eat......
3rd Prize 🥉 4% Beneficiary & 50 Ecency Points

After I read this currently Asean Hive Community Challenge #53, I right away googled what is Junk Foods. Here's what I've searched. Junk Food is defined as those commercial products, including candy, bakerygoods, ice cream, salty snacks and soft drinks which have little or no nutritional value but do have plenty of calories and fats. Source: Wikepedia. I do love this challenge, thanks @justinparke for this because I can share on this post my favorite, my weakness...Ice Cream! And Halo-halo!!!

Congratulations to all the winners they all look delicious snacks.
I agree, and it was fun to see all the different styles of junk food from each country.
It looks like the challenge for this week isn't too complicated. among us humans must feel that way.have a mild cold, and to deal with it in various ways depending on us the person.as well as prescriptions for mild cold various types of drugs that we know.what a coincidence that at this time I was hit by a mild flu, or the common cold.so for tomorrow I will make a few recipes and procedures. treating a mild flu that hit me at this time..of course for me to share in this week's challenge.
A simple challenge, but there are so many natural cold remedies from place to place. For me I always make a ginger tea, and it seems to help me get better a little faster.
Congratulations to all the winners👏 junkfoods are so love by young children and even adult ones.
Yes, maybe not very healthy, but very loved 🤣🤣🤣
Congratulations to last week's challenge winners! I love DingDong too!
Haha, yes, I was most excited when I saw you all have onion ring chips in the Philippines.

Thanks for joining, nothing like a hot soup to beat a cold.
I personally tasted all these junkfoods😸 so glad to see them here👍👍
Onion rings are among my favorite, shame we don't have them here in Cambodia.
