NEGROS ORIENTAL ESCAPADE: PART 7
NILUDHAN FALLS IN BAYAWAN
Finally, I was able to share all the places we went to during our 1st day in Negros. On our second day, we drove all the way to the other side of Negros Oriental to these amazing waterfalls. I've never heard and never been to these falls. But based on the photos I've searched and saw online, it is a must that we visit.
We left our hostel early and decided to look for places to eat along the way. We were really tired from all the traveling we did the day before that we fell asleep most of the time during this trip of course except @tanawabai hahaha. Louie was able to spot a small eatery by the road so we stopped and checked the food available. I was happy to see several vegan-friendly foods.
After our meal, we carried on with the trip and after an hour or two we arrived at our destination. We did a little trek all the way to the falls. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed because it wasn't as we expected because what we saw online was curtain-like flowing water but what we saw was a single water flow.
We were told that around that time of the year, the water flow is normally like that. If anyone would love to see the curtain-like water flow, July is the perfect month. We still did enjoy the place though. The water was cold and fresh. Of course, we took tons of photos.
We explore the different areas of the waterfalls. There are some big rocks around the water. There is a huge space for anyone to swim but we didn't because we don't have the safety gear to do that.
Overall, this trip was worth it. (even though it wasn't what we expected) It was a different experience and we will surely come back hoping that we will be able to see what we saw on the Internet. hahaha.
