Silver Mamma Chef in Quarantine

Hello all my Silver friends, I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's day yesterday, and to all the Silver Daddies, I hope you spoiled her.

A week ago, Pappa Chef was due to have a small operation on his eye...only to be phoned by the hospital to say they had to cancel his procedure due to being "un-jabbed" and has to have a covid test first.

Well...guess what, Pappa Chef, according to the test has covid...no symptoms at all not even a sniff, but... he has covid.

That's right!... Silver Mamma Chef and Silver Pappa Chef are in quarantine for two weeks...Mothers day being the seventh day confined to the house.

Mothers Day Under Quarantine
I think Pappa Chef felt a little guilty that he couldn't take her out to dinner, he offered to cook Mother's Day lunch.

Silver Mamma Chef was hesitant at first, ready to give instructions, when Pappa Chef piped up politely, forbidding her any where near the kitchen, or to interfere with his cooking....Omg!...that was very difficult...the kitchen is her territory and no-one messes with her utensils... Lol!

Pappa Chef enthusiastically went to work...peeling and cutting vegetables, while Silver Mamma Chef took some photographs... with Pappa Chef's permission of cause.

MENU

• Roast chicken pieces with garlic and onions
• Green beans
• Carrots
• roast potatoes
• A little Cabbage
• Boiled Gem Squash
• Rice and of cause, gravy.
  Silver Mamma Chef was very impressed with the way things were progressing in the kitchen so far.

Even the table was specially laid out with a bouquet of flowers freshly picked from the garden for decoration, making her feel very special.

Everything seemed to be going just fine...Pappa Chef called Silver Mamma Chef to sit at the table while waiting for the food to cook and poured her a glass of Red Wine.

Queen of the Day

Silver Mamma Chef felt like a Queen, even had her own personal Chef...wow! what more could she wish for...she could get quite use to this treatment, chuckling to herself.

The aroma from the roast cooking in the oven filled the room, it seemed a perfect day for a hot meal as the weather outside was overcast and raining.

Pappa Chef was quite chuffed with himself I think, and quite rightly so, the food was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Silver Mamma Chef couldn't fault it at all.

Everything tasted delicious, Mothers Day turned out to be quite a treat, even better than Restaurant food.

Rainbow ice-cream with wafer biscuits was served for dessert...Pappa Chef's own creation as well.

Silver Mamma Chef had a wonderful Mother's Day after all, although she was locked up in quarantine with Pappa Chef...he actually made her day.

I think he had more fun than her. Lol!

Pappa Chef has become the Master Chef in her eyes...he better watch it, he just might fill that role in future.
