My Fur Babies have Cabin Fever

Hello my Hive Pets friends, Happy National Pets Day

I would like to share my story with like minded folk... on Why! my three "Fur Babies" are feeling so frustrated at the moment.
Actually...they're a bit peeved off with me.

Durban Kwa Zulu Natal South Africa where we live, has been having very unusual weather with torrential rain which has been on going for the past few days, causing catastrophic floods leaving roads and property in devastation.

Most of our stores are closed for now as people cannot get to and from work.

It's been quite a scary time for us and my three Furies, who have been confined to indoors hence them becoming little depressed and have a slight dose of "cabin fever".

Being Labradors and obsessed with water...they aren't very happy with Mom at the moment for keeping them indoors.
One could only imagine what my house would look like with the three of them. Lol!

The rain doesn't look like it's going to relent any time soon. According to the Weather Forecast, it will continue for another good few days.
My poor babies...oh well...I just don't have the heart to leave them out in this weather, they're to precious.

Sasha is a Labrador cross with Great Dane, and has a severe case of the sulks...she isn't even talking to me at the moment.

I do let them out for five minutes at a time, but they're not allowed near the puddles.
Poor babies...they've never been house bound for this long.. ever!
They can't understand the purpose of it all.

Lucy being a typical Labrador, is the worst when it comes to water, looks all nice and clean...believe me when there's muddy pools around, she looks quite different. Lol!

Jack, the black Lab is the mischievous one, always looking for trouble. Unfortunately, he has developed arthurites in his old age, so prefers the in doors.

I'm hoping that it will clear up tomorrow and let them take a long run.

Fortunately, we have an acre of land for them to stretch their limbs and frolic around....don't know what they're going to look like with all the muddy pools around...Omg...I'll deal with it tomorrow. I'll get the hose-pipe ready Hehe!

I hope the sun comes out soon.
