My 4th Blockchain Birthday !

I was so surprised when I received "Happy Blockchain 4th Birthday wishes" from @hivebuzz and @arcange a few days ago. Thank you dear hearts much appreciated.
I couldn't help thinking, "Is it as long as that"?... Wow....I can only but wonder where the years had gone, it seems like a few months ago when my friend @lizelle introduced me to "Steemit" and then "Hive".

I started four years ago on Steemit which I did for awhile; unfortunately life got in the way, I stopped blogging for a long time, then @lizelle told me about Hive, being retired and plenty of time on my hands, I thought I'd give it a try.
I must say, I've enjoyed Hive platform tremendously and have never looked back since.
Being interested in writing since my teens, but never had the confidence to publish any of my work; Hive has given me that confidence, I'm truly grateful for this platform in many ways.
I've not only met some amazing people, I've learnt so much from other communities about different cultures life styles and food, realizing we're all striving for the same goals and inspirations no matter our circumstances.
I still have so much to learn about the Blockchain.... getting there slowly but surely..... every time I surf through the different communities, I learn something new, I think it's very important to read peoples posts, there is always something I have learnt from them, from the way they've put their words together, expressing themselves, sharing their emotions and their heart, it inspires me in some way, adding value to my life. Well!...that's how I feel about some posts, letting them know in the comments is very important as well; encouragement is a good thing.
So!....a huge thank you to Hive for bringing sunshine into my world, for inspiring me to share my talents with you.

Here is just a little recap on some of my past shares with you

Some of my "air drying" clay craft work, which after creating my picture with the clay, is left to dry and painted with bronze polish, then stuck onto Masonite board with wood glue then framed.

A painted blue boy on a ceramic plate and turned into a clock, which I did a few years ago.

I find my acrylic painting to be very therapeutic; a way to escape this crazy world, I love it when I'm inspired to do it Lol!...

Another hobby I like to do is turn old ugly things into beautiful pieces like this lamp shade.

Another favorite of mine is cooking food.
Awhile back ,I use to cook for my daughter Angela and her boys every day before they left for Cape Town. The boys gave me the name "Mamma Chef's Kitchen" I then created a character called "Mamma Chef"

A brunette Mamma Chef turned into Silver Mamma Chef's Kitchen.
Silver Mamma Chef had a different Menu every day, so had to plan for the week and loved every minute of it.

The boys were always happy and content with their fill from Silver Mamma Chef's Kitchen. Sadly they relocated to Cape Town and Mamma Chef was distraught for awhile and hung her apron up.

I'm very happy to announce that Silver Mamma Chef has decided to give a weekly share on what she's up to in her kitchen in 2022, so!.. watch out for her delightful menu soon.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all Hivian friends for all your support in 2021, I wish you and your family a healthy, wealthy, successful 2022.
