From "Torso man to "Feathered type".

Silver Mamma Chef was busy in her kitchen preparing a mutton curry for dinner, suddenly her eye caught Peter polishing one of his sculptures, a "Female Torso", something he does intently just before taking his art pieces to the Gallery for displaying and hopefully, sales, he seemed deeply absorbed in what he was doing, running his hand over the wooden piece, oblivious to Silver Mamma Chef's enquiring stare.
"What made you choose sculpture and the female form as an art medium?" she asked curiously crushing some garlic and ginger with the back of a knife, scraping it together and adding it to the onions in the pot on the stove.
"I like the feel of the wood", Peter replied. "The female form always fascinated me, nothing provocative about it, just an expression of my passion for art", he continued, smiling at her.

Silver Mamma Chef carried on preparing dinner, chuckling to herself in amusement as the conversation developed around the female form. I mean!....it's all in the name of art...isn't it?
"There is something beautiful in every woman, in any shape or form", Peter explained.
"Every woman is unique in their own way, that's my opinion anyway", continuing polishing his piece of art.
Peter is known as "The Female Torso man" amongst his fellow artists, they seem to think he's an expert on the subject, the name has become his trade mark as a Sculptor.

Silver Mamma Chef had to add, that in the 45 years of marriage to "The Torso Man", he has been nothing else but respectful to other women and most of all, to her, he is a professional artist and she adores and respects him in what he does, she supports him in his God given talent, "Art", and understands where he's coming from as an artist herself.

Since retirement, Peter has been leaning more towards water color painting of the feathered type. Lol!
Peter is an avid bird lover... so is Silver Mamma Chef.

Years of toiling with the hammer and sculpting tools is beginning to take it's toll on the old hands, although he said he wont give Sculpturing up entirely.

The bird on the left is an imaginary bird, the others on the right are South African birds.

So from the human type to the feathered type. "The Female Torso man", has
now converted to the feathered type.

Silver Mamma Chef had to share her story with her Silver Blogger friends, Hope you enjoyed it as much as she did.

Oh!....Silver Mamma Chef burnt her mutton curry slightly...Omg, it still was delicious.

It was hot and very spicy, washed down with a glass of red wine, "The Torso Man" loved it. Hehe!
