"Building my Nest Egg with Hive" / Power Up Day April

During the lock down, most Art Galleries in the country had closed, leaving the artist some what "destitute".

Artists rely mostly on the income they receive from their art, when that's suddenly cut off, it can be devastating at times not knowing where the next meal is coming from.

The Covid Pandemic has left not only Galleries and Artists, but many businesses ruined leaving people... "sadly"...to their own demise.

When I first joined Hive, I must honestly say, I never thought I'd see the day when Hive would become my rescuer.

Hive has become part of my life, not only because of the passive income, I've always wanted to write for a living and learn from other authors, this platform has satisfied that need, it's become my absolute passion.

For awhile I had to dig into my nest egg on Hive, making it impossible for me to Power up. Well!....that's definitely going to change.

I'll get them eggs to a dozen soon ...Lol!!

I see a little ray of light shining through the dark quiet days, the "Art Scene" seems to be coming alive again with hubby receiving a couple of commissions and the Galleries re-opening gives me hope that things are picking up.

I'm going to make every effort to grow my account, it really "irks" me to dig into it.

However, hopefully things will improve, I aim to "Power up" regularly for the rest of this year.
To day I powered up a teeny weeny amount of 29.300 Hive...Mmmm....not very much.

Oh Well!...it might be a drop in the ocean, but I do believe a little spark can set off a huge fire, not so?
I feel optimistic that Hive will go from strength to strength.
