Following Reverse Speed is a Hard Job to Do.
I got a battle of 99 mana where I played a earth v dragon battle in Reverse Speed Ruleset and even though I didn't really follow the ruleset, my strategy worked well there. Using Scarred Llama Mage as the summoner, I chose six earth monsters and fought a dragon team with one dragon monster, three death monsters and two neural monsters.
My Battle: Earth V Dragon = Battle Link.
My Lineup Strategy: I chose earth team with total seven cards (A summoner card with a melee monster, a melee+magic monster, 2 magic monsters, a magic+ranged monster and a ranged monster)
The battle was ruled by reverse speed ruleset where monsters with lowest speed gets to attack first and has the higher chance of evading damages so I should've selected only monsters with lowest speed but I just didn't follow this ruleset as I wasn't getting better monsters than I selected that has lowest speeds.
Total mana for the battle was 99 so the mana was not a problem for this battle. After choosing the summoner that wastes 7 mana, I chose Grund in level 2 for the 1st place that waste 10 mana and this monster attacks twice each round for its double strike ability. Then I chose Oaken Behemoth in level 1 for the second place that may attack from the second position on the team even after being a melee attack for its reach ability and magic attacks will hit this monsters armor before its health for its void armor ability.
Then I chose Mycelic Slipspawn for the third position that and all enemy units target this unit for its taunt ability, I chose Goblin Psychic for the fourth position that restores a third of max health to the unit in the first position each round for its tank heal ability, I chose Runemancer Florre for the fifth position that can do double damage using both magic and ranged damages. And at last I chose Spirit of the Forest that has both flying and snipe abilities.
Combat:
All friendly monsters got two extra health and last stan ability from the rare summoner that I used in this battle. And the enemy monsters gets one extra armor from their summoner.
From the opponent team = Djinn Chwala will do 2 melee damage back to the attacker if gets hit by melee attacker and I had two melee attackers waiting to damage this monster. Harklaw would reduce damage from melee and ranged attacks by 50% and Disintegrator already reduced the melee attack of all two of my melee monsters and the friendly summoner cleansed that debuff from the first monster.
Venari Bonesmith will increase its health each time it'd damage an enemy, Gargoya Devil would attack from the first position using its close range ability and gets 25% bonus chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from units who do not have the flying ability. And the attack of Dhampir Stalker can't be missed for its true strike ability.
My Goblin Psychic took the first turn as it was the monster with the lowest speed although there was one monster in the opponent team as well with the same speed. There Djinn Chwala lost two health and couldn't do anything about it having thorns as it works only on melee damages.
Then after Djinn Chwala damaged two health of my Grund, the opponent monsters started attacking only my Mycelic Slipspawn and already damaged six health with three damages and then my Mycelic Slipspawn damaged two more health of the opponent's Djinn Chwala. My Grund then did good on damaging the whole armor of the Djinn Chwala using the double strike ability and also lost four health for the thorns ability.
Then my Oaken Behemoth damaged two more health of the same opponent monster and missed the melee damage and then my Runemancer Florre killed his opponent monster.
My Goblin Psychic restored my Grund's health big time with four health and then the opponent monsters almost killed my Mycelic Slipspawn but it waited for another round before leaving the field.
The opponent lost another monster in the current round and I lost Mycelic Slipspawn, the first monster in the next round and then the opponent monsters started targeting my Grund. There Venari Bonesmith kept increasing its health with each damage and my Grund then did a double damage on another opponent monster and after damaging the 3x armor, killed the opponent monster also.
Now killing the rest of the opponent monsters was easy for all my monsters and they killed them all so fast that the opponent team shouldn't have understood well about what really happened there and the battle was packed up in round 4.
End of the battle.
How's it? I'd like to get some honest opinions.
If anybody has any kinds of advice, suggestions on my game review/storytelling, I would be happy to receive them.
