splinterlands contest

Hello friends. I hope you are all doing great today.
In this post I’m going to share my drawing for Splinterlands.
If you have seen my posts, you may have already noticed that most of the times I pick references in which the animal looks cute but the drawings I did for the contest were more evil and furious so far which was really exciting because it was something new for me, to draw different kinds of expressions on the face. But for this week’s contest I came across a card called "Regal Peryton" which looked so calm and gorgeous, so I picked this card. Drawing it was so relaxing because it looked not only cute but also kind. Looks like an angel, but animal version haha!

I only used graphite pencils for drawing it.

Steps of the drawing

The idea of an animal angel made me think of adding halo above its head. Which I didn’t know was a good idea or not, that’s why I didn’t put this as the final drawing. So now we have an “Angel Regal Peryton” here. Hahaha . Btw I’d be glad to receive your feedback on the drawing. And thank you for taking the time to read this post.
