The life in my city

Good morning HIVE. I have always wonder why some food are delicious and memorable. Maybe it the dishing, the content or the appearance. I wish to know.

Painting is like a delicious food. The colours are like the ingredients, the fish, dodo, macaroni and the chicken that are used to dish the food. The texture is like the aroma, the value is like the appearance of the food, while the message is like the taste of the food. The same food can give different taste in the month, so is a painting to the eyes of the viewers.

What can you see? How do you see it? Why are you still looking at it. The answer you come up with in your mind is your own experience with the colour and value. Here is my painting for today. This painting was birthed by my experience in my city.

My city is called Makoko. It is located in Lagos Nigeria. This beautiful city is situated on the sea that enters into lagos. It is true that people lives on water. Where can you find that city? It can be found in Lagos, Nigeria.

I used gold, brown and black colours to show how our environment is. The texture depicts the feeling of roughness and ghetto. Despite the fact that we live on water, we have the best life in the world. I love my city. It is lively.
