Mild shithousery and blessings to Burnley

It is crazy that we're having conversations about war but at least we have the premier league football to distract us. The best part is that even with the threat of modern society burning to ashes, Spurs continue to be the serial bottlers that we love them to be.

I didn't get the chance to watch the Spuds game because I was watching Manchester United pull a stinker and then sucker punch Athletico.

It was a sweet and sour day for me, to be honest. On one side, Manchester United actually got something from a match that they were dominated for like 90% of the game but on a positive note, Spurs dropped more points against Burnley.

To be completely honest, I'm more worried about SPurs and West Ham, than I am about Manchester United making it into the top four. At the same time, Chelsea has proven twice that it is possible to fluke your way to a UCL trophy, so the longer United stay in that tournament, I also worry.

For what it's worth, there's almost no chance that Manchester United will win the UCl, if they meet any quality opposition along the way. Sadly, besides Man City, Ajax and Liverpool, I don't see anybody else really playing any spectacular football in Europe.

If United manage to cross the R16, which they actually could, I hope they meet proper opposition. Athletico Madrid have been utter shyte all season and deserve to be knocked out by an even shittier team.

Top 4 though

Today we're going up against Wolves after easing pass them 0-1 at their home ground. They were really sore about that loss, so I reckon they'll be out for blood.

Wolves are in contention for the European places, so they'll be prioritising this game. A victory against us will get them one step closer to their own target.

For us, the path is clear; we have to win as many games as possible. We have 15 games to go and I believe that if we win 10 out of the lot, we'll be firmly in the top 4.

All the teams around us are not exactly playing well, so this gives us a chance to squeeze into the top four.

We're equal on points with West Ham, despite playing three games less. We're also four points behind United with three games in hand as well.

We win today, and we climb to fifth, keeping us only one point behind United, with two games in hand.

My hunch is United will drop a lot more points along the way. Same thing with Spurs, but I worry about the white side of North London more because that team has the capacity to do something incredible. This was evident in the game against City that blew the title race open, where nobody expected anything from them.

All I'm saying is Spurs is shit but they have the capacity to do incredible things. Wolves have the bite, West Ham are no pushovers and Manchester United might not even be in the top 7 if they don't fix-up.

The ball is in our court now. We have the team, the drive and the capacity to push for top 4. Let's go for it and leave all these shit teams in our wake. Until we meet again, up the Arsenal.
