Okayyy...
This is going to be my third draft for this post. Honestly, I am already pissed and now I am just typing through peakD to take advantage of the auto-save feature just in case something goes wrong again.
It's my second time trying LikeTu. I am still exploring and here's what I have found so far:
- there is no auto-save for drafts (if this is available, could someone please point me out to it coz it's driving me insane)
- I finally found how to post in a community through the LikeTu front-end. I think last time, I was not able to use this feature but just the tags.
- the draft page freezes whenever I use the CTRL-A & CTRL-C commands. I thought I was just on the page for a very long time during the first time it happened, but it happened again the second time so it could really be the reason.
Why do you even have to Copy-Paste your post?
The draft page does not have a word counter and I just wanted to know whether I have at least 300 words before I publish. Yaiks, this action cost me two drafts and now I am doing this kind of LikeTu impromptu review...
Anyway, I came here to share some photos.
The hubs was off this week and so we decided to take a walk to a not-so-near Filipino bakery to buy pan de sal. Instead of driving, we just walked to shake off some fats and have some extra space for the carbs that we would be eating later on.
We would take the crossroad under the Immigration Bridge and before reaching it, the road forked and we had to slip towards the inner side of the road.
There were lots of trees along the way and I saw some bird feeders hanging on the trees. The summer heat could be very harsh and water for these animals would really help them survive.
It was our first time walking in this area and I never realized that there was an abandoned building there. It was conveniently hidden beneath the lush trees and bushes. Just driving by, it is barely noticeable. I never did, until this walk.
Walking through this path, we found some odd pieces like a bed frame underneath a tree and a couple of logs which the hubs said could make a great chopping board. LOL.
It is common for people to put old carpets on sandy areas where people pass by frequently. It makes it easier and less messy to walk on. There was a patch here, however, that was laid with faux grass. It seems new. Hmmm. What a contrast with the unattended surroundings.
We finally reached the crossroad and the bakery is on the opposite side of the road. I intentionally stopped to take a photo of the huge pillars underneath the bridge. I immediately regretted that decision as I could hear the loud banging sound from the cars passing on the bridge overhead. I felt anxious that the bridge would collapse on me. Yaiks.
End of Post.
I hope I get successful and not mess up this time around. So sorry for the mixed-up topics. I hope to do better next time.
