Snowy The Little Fur Ball

Snowy in our homeschool art class.
She's tired. Time for a nap!
Snowy started eating her greens at two weeks old.
Little Man feeding her one of her favorites -- basil leaves!
It's actually a girl.
Remember our baby that I introduced here two weeks ago? I think I referred to it as "him" towards the end of my post. The kids and their dad did a little more exploring and they confirmed that it's a female!
All right, I have to stop saying "it", coz it's a "she/her". The kids are firm on that. LOL.
We gave her a name already!
We are already thinking of a name to give it -- definitely NOT Bun-Bun Junior! Lol. Any suggestions?
It became a household joke that the bunny's name should be Stewart. You know, rabbit stew-art?! Too morbid, I know. Haha. But hey, she (that we thought as a "he") earlier looks like Stuart Little because of his white color.
After much deliberation, we named her SNOWY -- because oh well, she's like a snowball when she's sleeping!
Weaned from Mama Cookie
Snowy, now 3 weeks old, has gotten so big. She also hops around like the cute fur ball that she is. Sometimes, we let her out of her cage and wow, she's fast! A few more weeks and we won't be able to catch up and to let her out of her cage would not be a great idea.
Cookie, her mom, is also not interested in feeding her anymore. Every time we try to give Snowy to her, she moves away. Poor Snow still tries to latch though. Thankfully, Snowy started to eat already. She likes hay, moringa, basil, and water spinach (kangkong). We also tried to give her oats which she took too!
Snowy inside the house.
One would have to be very careful when sitting on our couch or even the bed. The kids would bring Snowy inside the house and keep her bundled in a blanket like the baby that she is!
So far, I am okay with her inside the house. Potty training her is crucial if we would like to keep her as a house pet. Feeding her and the first few days' struggles is now behind us. New hurdles will definitely come along. I think potty training is the most imminent.

What a cutie! I have heard you can potty train rabbits, but we've never tried! We had a few, but my kids get tired of them and then they move outside in their cage. Anyway, she's a pretty girl and I bet she is super soft!
I saw some videos on YouTube that show how to potty train rabbits. I'm not sure how we can ever make it work with our current set up.
We let her parents roam free outside and they have already learned how to go back home. So far, we don't intend to do that with Snowy. We'll see. Yeah, it depends for how long the kids would like to be with her. 😅
I had a rabbit in a cage and he used the same spot for where he went to the bathroom. I have heard it is possible, so if you try it, I hope it goes well for you!!
True. True. This potty training thing could very well be a shot to the Moon. 😂
Oh my goodness! Made my heart melt!
Di baaa. Para kaming may new baby. Haha
