Hello Hive family, I am very happy to be back to post on this wonderful platform. NeedleWorkMonday a community of opportunities to showcase my sewing talent. Today I bring you a new creation with some scraps of fabric I had in my stash.

Esta blusa es para un día especial y para alguien especial. Les hablo de mi pedacito de cielo ya que se encuentra cumpliendo sus 10 años y la voy a sorprender con este regalo.

This blouse is for a special day and for someone special. I am talking about my little piece of heaven since she is celebrating her 10th birthday and I am going to surprise her with this gift.

Materiales
• Retazos de tela
• Una blusa para la medida
• Hilo al tono
• Cinta métrica
• Tiza
• Tijeras
• Lápiz

Fabric scraps
A blouse to fit
Matching thread
Tape measure
Chalk
Scissors
Pencil

Aquí les presento la blusa que voy a utilizar como guía

Here is the blouse I am going to use as a guide

La tela la vamos a doblar en dos partes y la blusa también la doblamos en dos y marcamos con tiza dándole 3cm para la costura y para que quede mas holgada (observar imagen)

The fabric will be folded in two parts and the blouse will also be folded in two and marked with chalk giving it 3cm for the seam and to make it more loose (see image).

Luego procedemos a cortar. Se cortan dos piezas la delantera y espalda.

Then we proceed to cutting. Two pieces are cut, the front and the back.

Para el ruedo de la blusa corte un rectángulo de 20x10 como se muestra en la imagen.

For the hem of the blouse cut a 20x10 rectangle as shown in the image.

Luego procedemos a unir las piezas, delantera y trasera como se muestra en la imagen. Después procedemos a coser el ruedo del cuello, las manga y por ultimo el ruedo de abajo.

Then we proceed to join the front and back pieces as shown in the picture. Then we proceed to sew the neck hem, the sleeves and finally the bottom hem.
