Hello everyone around here. I have thought that the best way to cook with fresh ingredients, is to have your own garden at home. And there is nothing more satisfying than harvesting the fruit of what you sow. That's why a good option is to plant in pots. If you don't have much green space to plant, pots are an excellent option. At home, although we have some land to plant, we also take advantage of the space by planting in pots.

This time I am going to show you the ginger plant and some cherry tomatoes. I use ginger in meals and in some teas to improve or maintain health. You can plant a small piece that is cut from the ginger root that you buy or are given as a gift. This is what we did at home, we planted it and I had never seen the leaves of this plant, since I only bought the root. By growing it I was able to get to know the plant better...to see how it produces the root underneath and its leaves when cut have the same peculiar smell of ginger.

We also planted Cherry tomatoes. With seeds taken from a ripe Cherry tomato, which was given to us as a gift. The growth of this plant is fast and produces enough fruit. Without pesticides and fertilizers, we harvest and enjoy this vegetable. The soil has organic fertilizer, so the product is 100% natural.

At home we also have banana plants, lechoza, oregano, chives and others. Planting at home can be a rewarding task, because it generates self-sustainability. It helps you to feed yourself in a healthy way and without having to generate a lot of expenses. So, take the courage to plant, even in pots, the work is worth it. Hola a todos por aquí. He pensado que la mejor manera de cocinar con ingredientes frescos, es teniendo en casa tu propio huerto. Y no hay nada más satisfactorio que recoger el fruto de lo que siembras. Por eso una buena opción es sembrar en macetas. Si no tienes mucho espacio verde dónde sembrar, las macetas son una excelente opción. En casa aunque tenemos algo de terreno para sembrar, aprovechamos los espacios también sembrando en macetas.

En esta ocasión les voy a mostrar la planta de jengibre y unas de tomates Cherry. El jengibre lo uso en las comidas y en algunos té para mejorar o mantener la salud. Se puede sembrar un trocito que se le corte a la raíz de jengibre que compres o te regalen. Así hicimos en casa, la sembramos y nunca había visto las hojas de esta planta, pues solo compraba la raíz. Al cultivarla pude conocer mejor la planta...ver cómo produce la raíz debajo y sus hojas al cortarlas tienen el mismo olor peculiar del jengibre.

También sembramos tomates Cherry. Con semillas sacadas de un tomate Cherry maduro, que nos regalaron. El crecimiento de esta planta es rápido y produce suficientes frutos. Sin tener que echarles pesticidas ni fertilizantes, cosechamos y disfrutamos de este vegetal. El terreno tiene abono orgánico, así que el producto es 100% natural.

En casa también tenemos plantas de plátanos, lechoza, orégano, cebollín y otros. El sembrar en casa puede ser una tarea gratificante, porque genera autosustentabilidad. Te ayuda a alimentarte de manera saludable y sin tener que generar muchos gastos. Así que anímate a sembrar aunque sea en macetas, el trabajo vale la pena.
