Through my spiritual formation I have had to have teachers, because I think that just like buying a math book, the best of all and reading it by yourself is not going to help you understand how to solve the exercises if you do not have someone to explain it to you, so it happens with spirituality. In the case of when I was a child I had to go to school even if I had help at home and the subject books, because at school there were the experts in education, who with efforts have developed the art of teaching and for years have studied and have specialized in their profession. And so, the less I understood the more I needed my teacher. It is true that I can observe what I have around me and see that there is someone superior and powerful who maintains everything, but without a teacher who explains to me where to find answers to questions that are necessary to achieve a strong spirituality, it is not possible to achieve it. For example, who could explain to me: for what purpose we were created, why bad things happen if God exists, who is God and what is his personality, why he created us with the perfect cellular renewal and at a certain age this process stops without scientific explanation and that is why we grow old and die, if the earth was made by God with a purpose, will the human being finish with it... all these questions needed answers and I found them thanks to a teacher. But we must be clear about what it means to be a good teacher or guru. A good teacher supports what he says with explanations, proofs or by the use of other methods, in order to help the listener to accept and remember what he he hears. That is how it is, he proves what he teaches, and in the case of spirituality it is evident in his life that he is a spiritual person, he is different from the rest of the people that although they have faith and read the sacred book the Bible, the effect of it is not seen in their lives, the law of the minimum effort is present, or of applying only what is convenient and demanding that others do what they themselves teach but do not practice. Thus it is very easy to be a guru or teacher only applying the theory, but in practice not to demonstrate the seriousness and responsibility to influence the spirituality of others, that is serious, it is life or death. Because of this type of teachers or gurus who take advantage of the faith of others and the spiritual need of their followers, unfortunately many are disappointed in God, in religion and even doubt that there is a God who is interested in them. They think: "if this is the way this man who knows about God and teaches his subjects behaves, I prefer to stay as I am" or "it is better not to know more so as not to have more responsibility". Now the other side of the coin is the following, is that it is not the teacher alone who forges spirituality completely but the student or apprentice must be motivated and determined to achieve it, if he does not want to grow his spirituality when he learns that there are principles and rules that God wants to fulfill to do well in life, it is worthless that the teacher is God Himself. Unfortunately, some people think that living life in their own way is the best, and if that is the case, it is worth asking: is it possible to be truly happy without spirituality and without God...the evidence says otherwise. Therefore, even if I have a good teacher, if I do not want to make efforts on my own, no one can force me and it will be difficult for the teacher, even with all his methods, to help me.

A través de mi formación espiritual he tenido que tener maestros, pues pienso que al igual que comprarte un libro de matemáticas, el mejor de todos y leerlo por ti mismo no te va a ayudar a comprender bien como resolver los ejercicios si no tienes quien te explique, así sucede con la espiritualidad. En el caso de cuando era niña debía ir al colegio aunque tuviera ayuda en casa y los libros de materias, pues en el colegio estaban los expertos en educación, que con esfuerzos han desarrollado el arte de enseñar y por años han estudiado y se han especializado en su profesión. Y es así, mientras menos entendía más necesitaba de mi maestro. Así paso en el campo espiritual, es cierto que puedo observar lo que tengo alrededor y ver qué hay alguien superior y poderoso que mantiene todo pero sin un maestro que me explique dónde encontrar respuestas a preguntas que son necesarias para lograr una espiritualidad fuerte, no es posible lograrlo. Por ejemplo, quien me explicara: con que propósito fuimos creados?, por que suceden cosas malas si existe Dios?, Quien es Dios y que personalidad tiene?, Por qué nos creo con la perfecta renovación celular y ya a cierta edad ese proceso se detiene sin explicación científica aún y por eso envejecemos y morimos?, Si la tierra fue hecha por Dios con un propósito será que el ser humano va a acabar con ella?...todas esas preguntas necesitaron respuesta y las encontré gracias a un maestro. Pero hay que tener claro lo que significa ser un buen maestro o gurú. Un buen maestro fundamenta lo que dice con explicaciones, pruebas o por el empleo de otros métodos, a fin de ayudar al que le escucha a aceptar y recordar lo que oye. Así es, prueba lo que enseña, y en el caso de la espiritualidad se nota en su vida que es una persona espiritual, es diferente al resto de las personas que aunque tengan fé y lean el libro sagrado la Biblia no se ve en sus vidas el efecto de ella, está presente la ley del mìnimo esfuerzo, o de aplicar solo lo que conviene y exigir que otros hagan lo que ellos mismos enseñan pero no practican. Así es muy fácil ser gurú o maestro solo aplicando la teoría, pero en las prácticas no demuestran lo serio y la responsabilidad de influir en la espiritualidad de otros, eso es serio, es de vida o muerte. Por este tipo de maestros o gurú que se aprovechan de la fe de otros y de la necesidad espiritual de sus seguidores, lamentable muchos están decepcionados de Dios, de la religión y hasta dudan de que exista un Dios que se interese en ellos. Piensan: "si así se porta este que sabe de Dios y enseña a sus súbditos, prefiero quedarme como estoy" o "mejor no saber más para no tener más responsabilidad". Ahora el otro lado de la moneda es el siguiente, es que no es el maestro solo quien forja la espiritualidad completamente sino que el alumno o aprendiz debe estar motivado y determinarse a lograrlo, si no desea hacer crecer su espiritualidad cuando aprende que hay principios y normas que Dios quiere que cumplan para que les vaya bien en la vida, de nada vale que el maestro sea Dios mismo. Lamentablemente algunos piensan que vivir la vida a su manera es lo mejor, y si a eso vamos cabe preguntar: se puede lograr ser feliz de verdad sin espiritualidad y sin Dios?...las pruebas dicen lo contrario. Por eso aunque yo tenga un buen maestro si no deseo hacer esfuerzos por mí misma, nadie me puede obligar y va a ser difícil que el maestro aún con todos sus métodos me ayude.

I say this because of my mother who at one time followed her church leader but she never investigated if what he taught had biblical foundations, she only repeated what he taught, and at that time a Bible was not accessible to everyone as it is now, but when she was shown with the Bible and realized that it was a lie what this man taught, she confronted him respectfully, hoping for a biblical foundation, She confronted him respectfully hoping for an answer that would convince her to continue in that church, but his answer was disappointing, he explained to her that he had to protect his material interests and that to protect his position he had to say what the people who attended there wanted to hear, even if it was contrary to what the word of God teaches, the Bible. De que maestros he recibido la instrucción espiritual?... Es necesario aclarar que una cosa es tener un maestro y otra un líder, dependiendo de tu identidad religiosa. Es cierto que he tenido maestros humanos pues una de las que me enseñó y guío por años fue mi mamá, que a su vez tuvo una maestra y así sucesivamente, para entender la Biblia necesitamos maestros capacitados como ya expliqué. Estos maestros nos enseñaron términos y explicaron las preguntas que teníamos con total exactitud, no nos enseñaron su opinión personal sino que nos enseñaron sobre Dios y sus argumentos lo demostraron con la Biblia, pues es la máxima autoridad en este tema, así quedamos convencidas de cuál es la verdad. Sin embargo, lastimosamente, muchos siguen a líderes humanos en sus religiones y estos cómo humanos imperfectos se equivocan y actúan mal por una u otra cosa, entonces los que siguen a estos hombres como no han cultivado verdadero amor a Dios y seguridad espiritual, sino que ciegamente hacen y repiten lo que estos líderes dicen que casi nunca leen o aplican lo que dice la Biblia, se decepcionan y prefieren llevar sus vidas igual, sin rumbo, con tantas preguntas que responder y como su espiritualidad no está fundamentada en argumentos sólidos sino en lo que dice el líder o guía religioso, fracasan en su objetivo de acercarse a Dios. Lo digo por mi madre que en un tiempo siguió a su líder de iglesia pero ella nunca investigó si lo que enseñaba tenía fundamentos bíblicos, solo repetía lo que este enseñaba, y en ese tiempo no era accesible para todos una Biblia como ahora, pero cuando le mostraron con la Biblia y se dio cuenta de que era mentira lo que este señor enseñaba, lo enfrentó respetuosamente esperando una respuesta que la convenciera más de seguir allí en esa iglesia, pero la respuesta de este fue decepcionante, le explicó que debía proteger sus intereses materiales y que para cuidar su puesto tenía que decir lo que la gente que asistía allí quería oír, así fuera contrario a lo que enseña la palabra de Dios la Biblia. Imagìnese la decepción de mi mamá!. Mamá pensó que la verdad está es en la Biblia, y decidió estudiarla más, con la ayuda de un maestro. Por eso aprendí a hacer una base sólida de mi espiritualidad con el estudio y meditación de la Biblia que conocí de mis maestros... mis padres, a su vez todos hemos aprendido del hombre "más sabio" que ha existido en la tierra y que fue el hombre "más grande" de todos los tiempos, pues a pesar del tiempo sus enseñanzas han influido hasta ahora en miles de personas para bien, mi único maestro y líder a la vez no es un ser humano, es un ser espiritual poderoso, Cristo Jesús. Con todo el también tuvo su maestro pues se dedicó a enseñar lo que había aprendido a su vez del "Magnífico Instructor"(título que se le da a Dios, Jehová, en la Biblia), su padre y es lo que dice el libro bíblico de Juan 8:28 que en parte dice palabras del mismo Jesús: "...que no hago nada por mi cuenta, sino que digo lo que el Padre me enseñó." (La Biblia. Traducción del nuevo mundo). Luego el se esmeró en entrenar a un grupo de sus seguidores y les dijo según el libro bíblico de Mateo 28:19,20 que dice: "Así que vayan y hagan discípulos de gente de todas las naciones...Enséñenles a obedecer todo lo que yo les he mandado.".(La Biblia. Traducción del nuevo mundo). Tengo las instrucciones bien claras, estás que están el la sagrada Biblia del líder y maestro que he seguido por años. Sus enseñanzas han influido en mi espiritualidad y en mi persona, me esfuerzo al máximo por vivir de acuerdo con su ejemplo, para lograr eso estudio a profundidad a diario su vida registrada en este libro, la Biblia y conociendo mejor a Jesús he llegado a conocer y ser amiga de mi Dios Jehová(el padre) el mayor maestro.

These men who lead and organize should not dress differently than the others, nor receive praise for super fine titles, much less believe that they are higher and deserve more favors than the rest, that neither Jesus taught nor did...it is obvious what kind of teachers they want to be. Jesus always gave glory and honor for all that he knew and taught to his Heavenly Father, so should be the gurus or spiritual masters, demonstrate with their lives that they follow the greatest example of master Jesus and help others with humility and affection to approach God. And it is an undeniable reality that the example drags, it means that even a child who learns from his parents, do what "they see" that these do, very little what they say without giving example, so it is in this case, the teachers I have followed have impacted my life with their example, so I am sure that my path to spirituality has grown and is strong thanks to these celestial people whose teachings and example I follow and also my human teachers.

Es cierto que para organizar a un grupo de personas con las mismas metas e intereses de aprender y acercarse a Dios necesitan a uno o grupo que los dirijan o ayuden a mantener cierto orden y organización, más no significa que ese grupo de personas a quienes guìen sea de ellos y que por eso se sienta amo de la fé de otros y hasta exijan un salarios por eso, no es lo correcto. Estos hombres que dirigen y organizan tampoco deberían vestirse diferente a los demás, ni recibir alabanzas por títulos súper finos, mucho menos creer que son más altos y que merecen más favores que lo demás, eso ni lo enseñó ni lo llegó hacer Jesús...ya por allí se nota que clase de maestros desean ser. Jesùs siempre dio la gloria y honra por todo lo que sabía y enseñaba a su Padre Celestial, así deberían ser los gurú o maestros espirituales, demostrar en con su vida que siguen al mayor ejemplo de maestro Jesús y ayudar a otros con humildad y cariño a acercarse a Dios. Y es una realidad innegable que el ejemplo arrastra, quiere decir que hasta un niño que aprende de sus padres, hacen lo "que ven" que estos hacen, muy poco lo que dicen sin dar ejemplo, así mismo es en este caso, los maestros que he seguido han impactado mi vida con su ejemplo, por eso estoy segura que mi camino hacia la espiritualidad ha crecido y es fuerte gracias a estas personas celestiales de quienes sigo sus enseñanzas y ejemplo y también mis maestros humanos.

In conclusion, I do believe that it is indispensable to have a teacher or guide for spirituality to grow because most of us although we are spiritually inclined from birth do not learn unless someone teaches us where to look, how to do it, to answer questions that can change the course of our life, without the help of a teacher, it is not so easy. It is true that individually we must make efforts to approach God the source of true spirituality and thus grow in spirituality, but it also depends on knowledge, to study, understand and meditate, to do these things we need someone to teach us. With proofs and good arguments a teacher or guru can influence his students, but the most important thing is his example, humility and pious fear of God, someone who sees with total responsibility and seriousness his role and influence in the faith of others, knows that the spiritual life or death of the listener depends on it. If a teacher decides to overlook the perfect example of Christ and do that work only for his glory and profit, he should be afraid of God because he will ask for an account to those who teach, this thought of the Bible clearly indicates this idea, in the biblical book of Ezekiel 3: 18,19 says: "If to someone wicked I say 'Without fail you shall die' but you do not warn him nor speak to the wicked to warn him to leave his evil way and go on living, he, because he is wicked, shall die for his error, but his blood I will require from you. On the other hand, if you warn the wicked and he does not leave his wickedness or his evil way, he will die for his error, but you will without fail save your own life." (The Bible. New World Translation). We have responsibilities once we acquire knowledge because it is time to help others to get closer to God. There are so many benefits in my life of a strong spirituality that my desire in obedience to what Jesus commanded, is to teach others what he commanded, that is why the seriousness of the role of a spiritual teacher.

En conclusión, si creo que es indispensable tener un maestro o guía para que la espiritualidad crezca pues la mayoría de nosotros aunque tenemos de nacimiento inclinación espiritual no aprendemos a menos que alguien nos enseñe dónde buscar, cómo hacerlo, para responder preguntas que pueden cambiar el rumbo de nuestra vida, sin la ayuda de un maestro, no es tan fácil. Es cierto que individualmente debemos hacer esfuerzos para acercarnos a Dios la fuente de la espiritualidad verdadera y así crecer en espiritualidad, pero también depende del conocimiento, de estudiar, comprender y meditar, para hacer estas cosas necesitamos alguien que nos enseñe. Con pruebas y buenos argumentos un maestro o gurú puede influir en sus estudiantes, pero lo más importante es su ejemplo, humildad y temor piadoso a Dios, alguien que ve con total responsabilidad y seriedad su papel e influencia en la fé de otros, sabe que de eso depende la vida o muerte espiritual del que los escucha. Si un maestro decide pasar por alto el ejemplo perfecto de Cristo y hacer ese trabajo solo para su gloria y lucrarse, debería tener temor de Dios pues él pedirá cuentas a los que enseñan, este pensamiento de la Biblia indica claramente está idea, en el libro bíblico de Ezequiel 3:18,19 dice: "Si a alguien malvado yo le digo ‘Sin falta morirás’ pero tú no se lo adviertes ni hablas con el malvado para advertirle que deje su mal camino y siga viviendo, él, como es malvado, morirá por su error, pero su sangre te la exigiré a ti. En cambio, si tú le adviertes al malvado y él no deja su maldad ni su mal camino, morirá por su error, pero tú sin falta salvarás tu propia vida.".( La Biblia. Traducción del nuevo mundo). Tenemos responsabilidades una vez que adquirimos conocimiento pues llega la hora de ayudar a otros a acercarse a Dios. Son tantos los beneficios en mi vida de te era una espiritualidad fuerte que mi deseo en obediencia a lo que mando Jesús, es enseñar a otros lo que el mandó, por eso la seriedad del papel de un maestro espiritual.

Even though we are imperfect humans and make mistakes many times, why is it the reality, if we can cultivate and make spirituality strong. The art of teaching or being a spiritual guide is not easy to acquire if you think only of the "I" as a beneficiary, when someone feels love for what he knows and transmits it to others without expecting anything in return, that is the true teacher, who can transcend through time even without a single word, only with the example he left. Aunque seamos humanos imperfectos y nos equivoquemos muchas veces, por qué es la realidad, si podemos cultivar y hacer fuerte la espiritualidad. Los maestros van y vienen, pero queda el ejemplo que arrastra y la influencia demostrada en tantas vidas cambiadas gracias a que alguien pudo enseñarte esas verdades fundamentales. El arte de enseñar o ser guía espiritual no es fácil de adquirir si se piensa solo en el "yo" como beneficiario, cuando alguien siente amor por lo que sabe y lo transmite a otros sin esperar nada a cambio, esa es el verdadero maestro, que puede transcender a través del tiempo hasta sin una sola palabra, solo con el ejemplo que dejó. Estoy feliz hasta hoy que en mi vida he podido conseguir al Mayor maestro de la historia Jesús, que a su vez aprendió todo de su Padre el Creador de lo que existe y a personas sinceras y amorosas que me transmitieron con pruebas y ejemplos que son excelentes discípulos de Cristo. Espero poder seguir con ese legado el tiempo que sea necesario y a su vez seguir ayudando como hasta ahora a otros a crecer en espiritualidad.
