GINJE

Hi all hive friends, I hope we are all in good health, so we can carry out activities as we should. First of all, I would like to thank all of my colleagues, who always support me, so I am very excited to post some of my documentation results here.

In this post, I want to share some pictures that I took when I was heading to the market to buy fish. On the way to the market, my eyes fell on plants that were green, had fruit and had very beautiful flowers.

So that friends don't become curious, here is the infographic below.

This type of plant is the Ginje plant. This plant also contains a lot of white sap like milk which is very toxic. The stem of this Ginje plant is round, grayish green in color with protrusions from fallen twigs and leaves. It smells bad and is usually used to poison fish. This plant also has lanceolate-shaped leaves, short stems, and pointed ends. The upper leaf surface is green while the underside is rather light, shiny, and long, the leaves are clustered, especially at the ends of the branches. The flowers are also very beautiful, yellow and the blooms do not coincide, the flowers are trumpet-shaped, located at the end of the twig or opposite the leaf.

Ginje plants are very much we find as an ornamental plant in the garden or on the roadside. This plant is also very useful for various treatments, namely, heart failure, to kill insects, fever reducer and can also be used as an inflammatory drug on the edge of the nails. Ginje plant is a poisonous plant, it is not recommended to use drugs that are taken directly from fresh or dried ingredients because if an excess dose will be dangerous. If you want to use it as a drug that is taken by mouth, the extract must be made into a tablet/injection form.

The parts used as medicine are the seeds, leaves, stalks, bark, roots and stems. The seeds can also be used when the fruit is ripe and after that it is dried in the sun until it is completely dry.
