Shop for fresh fruits at the fruit market
Hi HIVE friends.
This Friday morning my father and I went to the fruit market to buy some fresh fruit for us to enjoy with our family at home, it seems that today we will buy a lot of fruit because the stock of fruit in our house is all gone.
Eating fruit has become a tradition in our family, because we wanted to buy quite a lot of fruit. This morning we decided to go to the place that sells the biggest and best fruit in our city, the name is Fresh Fruit Shop, the reason we went here, apart from the fruits sold here, they were very fresh and just picked from the tree, the prices were also very cheap and affordable.
The location is in Lhokmseumawe City Indonesia which is not so far from where we live, upon arrival here we were immediately greeted with a variety of fresh fruits which were neatly arranged at the front of this fruit selling place.
In front of me I see that there are several types of fresh fruit that are neatly displayed on the table, from a distance I see the fruits here are really very fresh, the colorful colors of the fruits that are displayed in front of here make me impatient to go straight went inside to have a closer look so we could choose what fruits we bought ourselves.
At the front door we were immediately greeted with small red and cute strawberries, these strawberries were neatly hung on the front pole, these strawberries had been packed in small mica boxes, these strawberries were sold per box at a price of $ 1.5 USD.
Quite expensive for the price of a small box of strawberries because in our city there are no strawberry gardens. Then next to him I saw that there were fresh grapes that were also hanging on a pole, these grapes were fresh purple which made them look so delicious and very tempting, these grapes were selling for $3 USD per kilogram.
Beside the grapes I saw also longan fruit hanging in a net package, longan is quite expensive at around $2 USD per kilogram, but you won't be disappointed when you buy it because it's really very sweet.
Apples and pears here are placed side by side on a large table, apart from looking beautiful because they are arranged very neatly I also feel that these two fruits are very tasty and fresh, these are sweet apples and pears which are sold at the same price, which is $ 2 USD per kilogram.
Then I went to the fresh citrus fruit table right in front of my eyes, the oranges available here are bright yellow and fresh, for these yellow oranges they sell for $ 1.2 USD per kilogram. Apart from the yellow ones, they also sell green oranges, which made me unable to look away either.
However, these green oranges are cheaper, maybe because of the different taste and size, for these small green oranges, they are sold for $ 1 USD per kilogram. What made me so excited was when I found this small golden yellow orange fruit.
Wow, these golden oranges are really cute and funny, these little oranges come in a mesh bag and sell for $2 USD a pack. On the side of this I also saw that in one table three different types of fruit were placed, namely pomegranates, dragon fruit and also cucumbers.
They are no less fresh and very tempting, then here there are also avocados that are still very fresh and it looks like this avocado has just been picked from the tree because it hasn't been taken out of the basket yet, this avocado is also being sold very cheaply at $ 1.5 USD per kilogram.
What made me focus wrongly was the melon that was hanging above my head. Look at its big size and fresh look, it makes me want to take a bite right away, hehe. This melon sells for $2 USD per kilogram.
Have you ever eaten duku fruit, this is not longan fruit this is duku fruit which is very similar to longan, tastes sweet and fresh, for the price it sells for $ 1.2 USD per kilogram.
Here also sells fresh mangoes that are ripe and ready to be enjoyed, the price is also not expensive, which is around $ 1.5 USD per kilogram. The salak fruit that is sold here is also not too sweet, we call it the wrong pondok, this salak fruit is a little smaller in size than the salak fruit in general, for the wrong price it is a little more expensive because the taste is definitely sweet, per kilogram is sold here for $ 2 USD .
In the back area I saw a pile of watermelons which made me really hot when I saw them, you can imagine the taste of the red flesh which really made me want to eat them, these watermelons were selling for $1USD per kilogram.
Well, at the very back I saw a pineapple that was placed on the ground, because it was just taken out of the basket, the price of this ripe pineapple was selling for $ 1.4 USD per kilogram. And after looking at all the fruits here we decided to buy 2 kilograms of apples and pears, 1 kilogram of salak, 1 kilogram of grapes, 3 watermelons weighing 10 kilograms and also a basket of oranges.
The total price we paid for each fruit we bought was $200 USD, we purposely bought a basket of oranges because tomorrow at our house there is a family event, so we need a lot of oranges for dessert.

How juicy these fruits look, I would like to compare the prices to how they are here where I live, but I haven't bought fruits for a long time, apples and strawberries are very expensive here.
at our place the prices for apples and strawberries are also quite expensive because there are no gardens nearby, all the fruit must be sent from outside the area
If it is the same here, these areas are too hot to grow these fruits.
The fruit looks fresh, there is fruit from local agricultural and there are graps that look like grapes from import. The price is quite affordable by the people of indonesia. Thank you.
Thank you brother, I hope we are always healthy by continuing to consume fresh fruits
Fruits as always been my favorite, there is some fruit here that have not eaten it before, love to taste it some day..
I hope someday you can taste these fresh fruits that you have never eaten
What a delicious fruity market friday. Would love to make a mango shake out of those sweet mangoes.
It's a great idea to process mangoes, I also like fresh mango preparations like mango juice and mango shake.

Wow! Nice shopping. Really the prices for those fruits must be very high for you have purchased that of $200 well, you said it's actually for the event that's meant to hold in your house tomorrow, that's good to know. Best wishes bye.
Thank you for stopping by my post brother
You're welcome dear.
All fruits are fresh and good quality . but price is little high. worlds economy changes so every country every types of product price much high . In our country its much difficult for poor people to buy fruits . its too high for them .
Thanks for your sharing
I hope that the world economy will quickly improve so that we can all live in prosperity
Whoa!!! I hope you put the decimal point in the wrong place on the money. You should have paid closer to $20.00 - not $200.00! Otherwise, you overpaid @aquagelas !
The market is wonderful, the fruit all looks fresh and the price seems reasonable! How great for you! I agree that those strawberries are so juicy and delicious looking! Who can resist?
Were the oranges good? They looked really good, but, I have been fooled by oranges before when I think they are sweet! I would say that you got some great prices and I hope the oranges were tasty for your company!
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world. Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday
